Pirates : À la recherche de l'or perdu

So caught this film on Tubi. It's obviously low budget and b-grade. Everything looks shiny and not lived it at all. Effects are pretty cheap looking. Despite that it's quite a passable film except for one thing. The ADR/dialogue looping is terrible. I'm guessing the entire film was audio replaced from scratch because I don't think there's an ounce of location sound. Every line is ADRed and not well. None of the dialogue is in sync with the video and not mixed very well either. It all sounds like it's still in the studio. Overall because of that the whole film comes across as unbelievable and incredibly overacted. Sorry I know everyone on the cast and crew tried but it's a hard watch.

Ok, it is low budget, and that's not a shame. Quenstion is wether kids like it and have a laugh. As a parent I had a laugh myself so it was a good 90 minutes invested. Are the actors the best? No ... but decent enough for a 12 year old )and parent) to enjoy the movie.

That leaves the following... is it a nesassity to.have a big buget, state of the art special effects to make it enjoyable? I think not,

What is it about? Pirates of course, and the dreams of adults and kids. Also what we lose when growing up. Also.. what do you do when things don't go to plan, how do you cope with live and things go sour.
