Right after the trivia competition, Julia goes outside the pub wearing boots. When she arrives at her grandmother's shop a few minutes later, she's wearing ballet flats.
To bring the families together for the bake off, Julia plugs multiple lights and appliances into a single outlet go shut off power to the entire inn. This is not possible because buildings have multiple circuits. At most she would have only shut off power to a single room.
The movie was clearly shot in the late summer or early autumn. In outdoor scenes, you can clearly see the mix of green and rarely brown leaves on the trees, bushes and shrubs. Snow is obviously artificial, and snowing was digital. It was warm so cast has mostly light clothes and basically nobody wear hat because it would be too warm. The movie takes place in Colorado, and it was shot in Utah, so it's impossible in the mid December to have green deciduous trees, and warm weather.
