The Flipping El Moussas was renewed for a second season in summer 2023, with HGTV announcing an extension from 10 episodes to 14 episodes with the renewal. The series features HGTV all-star Tarek El Moussa, who rose to fame on the network with his now ex-wife Christina Hall on their series Flip or Flop. He also developed the series Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa for HGTV. The Flipping El Moussas follows Tarek with his new wife Heather Rae El Moussa, the renowned real estate agent from Selling Sunset on Netflix, as they renovate, elevate, and flip high-end homes together as a growing family. The release for the second season of The Flipping El Moussas was slated for "early" 2024. Season 1 of the home renovation and flipping series was released in March 2023, so the reasonable expectation was that viewers would see the second season come to air sometime around March 2024.

Best known for co-hosting the networks show Flip or Flop with his ex-wife Christina Hall, El Moussa has built an empire for himself by purchasing properties, renovating them, and then selling them for a profit. The show, Flip and Flop, was one of HGTVs most successful shows and ran for 10 seasons before it went off the air. However, that wasnt the end of El Moussas career in reality TV. Over the years, El Moussa has expanded his brand with HGTVs Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa, where he mentors upcoming flippers. El Moussa currently also stars in The Flipping El Moussas alongside his wife and Selling Sunset alum Heather Rae El Moussa. The show features the couples journey as newlyweds and property experts.

It's fun and satisfying to watch people fix up a house, decorate it perfectly, and then find homeowners who will hopefully enjoy it for years to come. Hosts Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa earned a ton of money on the show. Christina Hall has a higher net worth than her ex now and has continued to do incredibly well.
Christina seems like a natural fit for reality TV. She smiles a lot, has a talent for creating gorgeous spaces, and is friendly. But even though Flip Or Flop made her famous, Christina Hall might not have loved every moment of filming Flip Or Flop.

Thanks to the power of Netflix’s reach, the women of “Selling Sunset” are getting pretty famous. While two of their significant others beat them to celebrity status, three seasons into the real-estate reality show, we’ve yet to see those men on screen. But Justin Hartley and Tarek El Moussa are mentioned so much they might as well be honorary cast members.

The plot of “Selling Sunset” Season 3, now on Netflix, revolves around two major life moments — and both involve matrimony. First (chronologically), comes Chrishell’s shocking divorce from “This Is Us” star Hartley, and second, Christine Quinn’s over-the-top wedding to tech entrepreneur Christian Richard.

With Thursday’s debut of “House Hunters: Comedians on Couches,” Hgtv is officially in the business of making fun of itself. In the quarantine-tv show, hosts Dan Levy, Natasha Leggero, and a revolving door of their stand-up comedian friends watch-party a classic episode of “House Hunters” and then take turns taking the home buyers down a peg or two.
“We have been making fun of these shows for so long,” Levy, who has performed stage shows mocking random Zillow listings, told TheWrap.
So why not do it on Hgtv?

Perhaps the better question, or at least one that we asked Levy, is why specifically throw your jabs at “House Hunters”?
“They’ve made over 1,000 episodes, so there’s so much there to do,” he responded. “It’s so universal, everyone has seen it, everyone has...

Netflix's real estate reality series Selling Sunset is back for a second season, and we are so ready to see more gorgeous houses (and to watch even more juicy drama go down). After all, it's been over a year since the first season of the series premiered back in March 2019, so the ladies of Selling Sunset have no doubt experienced some major changes in their lives - or, at least, Heather Rae Young has.
In July 2019, Heather started dating fellow realtor Tarek El Moussa, who's best known for hosting Hgtv's Flip or Flop alongside his former wife, Christina Anstead. Heather and Tarek's whirlwind relationship is cute, but if you're hoping to see Tarek make an appearance on season two of Selling Sunset, you're going to be disappointed.

The Oct. 4 launch of Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Network has been delayed because of production stoppages due to the coronavirus pandemic.
There is some good news, however, for those who need their “Fixer Upper” fix: Magnolia will preview four hours of its upcoming programming this Sunday on Diy. That’s the Discovery, Inc.-owned cable channel the Gaineses will (eventually) be replacing.
We do not yet have a replacement launch date for Magnolia Network, but we now know 10 more series it will have at launch, whenever that actually is. One of them belongs to Clint Harp, the fan-favorite woodworker loyal viewers of the Gaineses hit Hgtv series are sure to remember. More on that — and the other shows — below.
