Note: The following story contains spoilers from the “Xo, Kitty” Season 2 finale.
Now that “Xo, Kitty” has concluded Season 2, series star Anna Cathcart shared her hopes for what the future holds for Kitty Song-Covey.
Season 2 saw multiple love triangles, reality TV-level stakes and the return of two fan-favorites from the original “To All the Boys” trilogy — so what could possibly be in store for the kids of K.I.S.S. if they were to re-enroll for a third semester on Netflix? (The show has not yet been renewed for Season 3)
“I’m just so excited to continue her story. I think she has so much growing to do always, and it’s so fun to watch,” Cathcart told TheWrap of her titular character. “I think this is a very cheesy answer, but I hope Kitty always follows her heart and I know that she will because that’s something...

When Anna Cathcart booked the first “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” movie in July 2017 as a teenager, she never imagine she’d still be playing the character seven years later at 21 years old.
But as evident by the return of “Xo, Kitty” Season 2 this week, that’s exactly what happened for both the actress and the show’s titular lead, Kitty Song Covey. Ahead of the Netflix spinoff series’ season premiere on Thursday, Cathcart and showrunner Jessica O’Toole opened up to TheWrap about returning to South Korea and finally getting to film their teen romantic dramedy without Covid protocols as they did in Season 1.
“It’s just surreal to me that I get to continue this character’s story in a way that I never would have expected when I first started working on the movies. I mean, the movie originally was just one, it wasn’t even three movies,...

Xo, Kitty is back! The brand-new second season is now streaming on Netflix, and in it, we see Kitty make her return to South Korea for her second semester at Kiss. After being expelled and spending her month-long winter break in Portland, Kitty gets a second chance to re-enroll at Kiss, thanks to Yuri pulling some strings. This time, she’s determined to focus on herself—no more drama, no more meddling in others' lives.
Kitty plans to dedicate herself to her studies and learn more about her mom. However, sticking to this plan proves difficult when she’s still hung up on the girl she can't forget from last semester. Yuri helped her discover her bisexuality, and as much as she tries to get over her crush, the feelings remain intense, making it nearly impossible for Kitty to stay focused on anything other than her unresolved emotions.
Then, there...

Netflix's Xo, Kitty continues the story of Kitty Song-Covey, bringing together an impressive cast of up-and-coming actors, led by Anna Cathcart. After helping build her sister Lara Jean's relationship with Peter Kavinsky in the To All The Boys movies, Kitty Song-Covey embarks on a journey of self-discovery and romance at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (Kiss) in Xo, Kitty. The unapologetically young adult rom-com might be packed with clichés and tropes, but it’s still remarkably fun to watch, thanks to the lovable cast.
While Anna Cathcart’s Kitty Song-Covey is the main character of the show, the Netflix rom-com frequently feels like an ensemble show. By the end of Xo, Kitty season 1 where Kitty’s classmates and teachers are just as important. Rather than flattening them down, the writers make the rest of the main and supporting cast three-dimensional. Interestingly, most of the Xo, Kitty actors are up-and-coming,...

Lana Condor hinted during the press tour of her popular romance film To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before that she and co-star Noah Centineo felt sparks between them when they met on set but chose to be professionals and did not date each other. Their chemistry in the film seemed to be great anyway, so fans believed the story.
However, the real reason for them not getting together despite their obvious chemistry might not be what Condor claimed. The actress is currently married to musician Anthony De La Torre and claimed on several occasions that they began dating after meeting at the 2015 Emmys, a full three years before To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before released.

Mike Flanagan and David Dastmalchian are both prominent figures in the horror world, so it’s somewhat surprising that their first collaboration came not on a horror project, but on Flanagan’s upcoming movie The Life of Chuck – which, despite being a Stephen King adaptation, is a drama. Today, Deadline has announced that Flanagan and Dastmalchian are set to work together again… and this time the project is a horror film. Flanagan will be producing Epilogue, which Dastmalchian will star in alongside Flanagan’s wife and frequent collaborator Kate Siegel. Michael Fimognari, who worked as cinematographer on most of Flanagan’s work and directed episodes of The Midnight Club and The Fall of the House of Usher (not to mention the films To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and To All the Boys: Always and Forever), will be directing, working from a screenplay by Luke Barnett and Tanner Thomason.

The feature is written by George Mahaffey Jr. and directed by Magnus Martens. Simple House Films is producing, marking the debut project under that production banner. Black Bear owns the international rights to the film.

Lana Condor's next rom-com, Worth the Wait, is described as a modern approach to Love Actually with a star-studded Asian American cast. The film will chronicle interconnected stories of Asian-American strangers as they find love and repair relationships over a year in Seattle and Kuala Lumpur. With familiar faces like Andrew Koji and Sung Kang, Worth the Wait is drawing comparisons to Crazy Rich Asians, but its release date is yet to be announced.

Netflix's new teen series "Xo, Kitty" visits Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) four years after the events of the "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" film trilogy. In those movies, Kitty's older sister Lara Jean - the middle of three girls - found love with Peter Kavinsky, and fans also fell for Lana Condor and Noah Centineo who played them. In the new series, Kitty is beginning her junior year of high school, and she's determined to head to South Korea to attend the Korean Independent School of Seoul - aka Kiss - where her long-distance boyfriend Dae (Choi Min-young) attends.
While the series is focused squarely on Kitty and her own adventure, Tatbilb fans might wonder if Lara Jean, Peter, and the third Song sister Margot (Janel Parrish) appear in the TV series. Here's what to know.

In this age of constant reboots and franchise extensions, it can be easy to feel cynical when another spinoff is announced. Sometimes, however, a project will come along that is so vibrant, fun, and creative, any prior misgivings will melt away entirely. Such is the case with Netflix's new series Xo, Kitty, an offshoot of the successful To All the Boys I've Loved Before franchise. Created by To All the Boys author Jenny Han, the new show brings Lara Jean Covey's matchmaking sister into the spotlight for her own adventure. On the surface, Xo, Kitty appears to be a straightforward tale of rom-com sweetness, but in reality, it's packed with enough twists to surpass any expectations.

It's always risky to take a breakout supporting character from a franchise and give them their own solo project. Sometimes you end up with Frasier, and sometimes you end up with Joey. Thankfully, Xo, Kitty falls closer to Frasier on that spectrum. It's a mostly entertaining spin-off from Netflix's To All the Boys movies, although it loses some of its title character's charm when she's required to carry all the emotional weight. After three movies as the bubbly, snarky little sister of To All the Boys protagonist Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor), Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) is now a high school junior with complex romantic problems of her own.
While Lara Jean's love life unfolded in three feature films, Kitty is the star of an ensemble dramedy TV series, and that change in structure is the first thing that sets her story apart. Creator Jenny Han, who...

Lara Jean Song-Covey and Peter Kavinsky from To All The Boys I've Loved Before have a permanent spot as one of the most beloved teen movie couples. Fans fell in love with the sweet, playful dynamic of the couple who started off in a classic fake dating arc in the first movie and a friends-to-lovers dynamic throughout the trilogy.

“One of the big things we assumed was that the younger viewers could handle scares,” Flanagan tells Empire, indicating that the terror of his latest series hasn’t been toned down for a younger audience. He says of Pike’s work in general, “He wrote some pretty advanced stuff for his younger readers, and it was not at all uncommon for his teenage characters to die, pretty shockingly. His books were full of things I found really exciting and thrilling and dark.”
“So I became a bit of an addict,” Flanagan adds.

British actor Rish Shah doesn't have much acting experience, but he has impressed so far as Kamala Kahan's crush, Kamran, in Ms. Marvel. The actor's only other notable roles are that of Ravi in To All the Boys: Always and Forever, and Virat in Casualty, but his lack of experience isn't unusual since he is only 23.
So far, MCU fans have learned a couple of things about Kamran from the Disney+ series, including the fact that his family was exiled from the Noor Dimension and that he is a member of the group known as ClanDestine/Djinn. However, there is information about him that still only exists in the comics.

Based on the book of the same name by Jennifer E. Smith, the film follows complete strangers Hadley and Oliver, who find themselves falling for each other on a flight from New York to London, only to get separated when they land. Despite the low probability of reconnecting in a city as big as London, the bond forged on the flight spurs them toward reunion, motivated by the hope that their missed connection is a shot at love. It was “WandaVision” all along at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, which were presented live on Sunday night, May 16, during a ceremony hosted by Leslie Jones. Check out the complete list of winners here.
“WandaVision” had six nominations and won four: Best Show, Best Performance in a Show (Elizabeth Olsen), Best Villain (Kathryn Hahn), and Best Fight (Olsen vs. Hahn). But that wasn’t the end of the awards domination for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” was nominated for two awards and it won both of them: Best Hero (Anthony Mackie) and Best Duo (Mackie and Sebastian Stan). That means the MCU won almost half of the competitive prizes that were handed out. And then one more if you count the honorary Generation Award for the erstwhile Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson.
