Teasers and trailers are like appetizers that make the audience hungry for the main course. More than just announcements, good trailers become events that start discussions among audiences. Studios spend their millions in producing these brief promotional videos as they form a crucial part of movie marketing strategies.
Every promotional move depends on when and where it appears. A trailer shown during the annual Super Bowl broadcast will instantly receive millions of eyeballs. Studios often want to strike viewers exactly when they are hyped up or chilling with family. The effectiveness of smart marketing strategies can make or break that first impression.

Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man 4 is untitled no longer.
The star appeared in a video clip to announce that the film is titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set to hit theaters July 31, 2026. Filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) also took the stage at CinemaCon on Monday, where he copped to having just lost $200 at the roulette table in Las Vegas.
“To say that it’s an honor to be standing on this stage is a pretty big understatement,” Cretton said. He explained that he was a lifelong fan of the character and has been drawn to Peter Parker’s “humor” and “messy humanity.”
Holland appeared in a video segment and gave a “massive thank you for all of your support.” He added, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a fresh start.”
Cretton called the movie “a ride that we haven’t really seen before.”

Are movie theaters still relevant?
It’s a question that’s been plaguing the badly bruised business ever since the pandemic and 2023 strikes.
Of course, “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Barbenheimer” were glorious reminders of all that cinemas can offer. But along with those high highs were the low lows (like “Joker: Folie à Deux” and “Borderlands”) and worse. There was no consistency to assure Hollywood that moviegoing remains a way of life and not just a semiannual occurrence.
This year, 2025, has been positioned as the Great Reset — the first period without any asterisks to excuse the industry’s lack of recovery. So far, though, box office grosses are grim. Year-to-date revenues are 5% behind 2024 and nearly 38% behind 2019, according to Comscore. Also, 2024 was the first year since the pademic that overall returns didn’t improve upon the last, though all the strike-related release-date delays certainly didn’t help.

Snow White should have easily walked away with the top spot again over the weekend, but the film’s controversy seriously undermined the live-action reimagining’s financial performance at the box office. The Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot flick dropped a staggering 66% between its first and second weekends of release and, as a result, only made an estimated $14.2 million domestically. That allowed Jason Statham’s new action flick, A Working Man, to fight its way past the Disney disaster en route to the No. 1 spot with $15.2 million — beating out the competition by a mere million dollars.
The Mouse House has much more to worry about than just A Working Man. Despite a decent Popcornmeter rating of 74% from the fans on Rotten Tomatoes and a "B+" CinemaScore from theater audiences, Snow White is going to struggle to break even at the box office. Director Marc Webb’s film, which was already...

On X (formerly Twitter), Marvel Studios revealed the impressive lead cast of Avengers: Doomsday, slated for release in 2026. The new movie will mark the first time the titular team has assembled since 2019's Avengers: Endgame. With several of Earth's mightiest heroes now either deceased or retired, the new movie will feature a new Avengers roster, presumably led by Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson as the McU's new Captain America. However, the Avengers aren't the only heroes set to appear in Doomsday, as they will be crossing paths with other teams of heroes from their universe and beyond.
In addition to those cast members expected to reprise their MCU roles to join the new Avengers lineup, the Avengers: Doomsday cast announcement included the names of several stars from other Marvel movies. All four leads of The Fantastic Four: First Steps were among the Doomsday cast, as were the majority of the...

Daredevil: Born Againis greatly expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe's street-level setting, telling a much-needed grounded story amid the controversial Multiverse Saga. Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock, formerly the vigilante Daredevil, who struggles to break free from the call to suit up and administer justice on the streets of New York City when his old nemesis, Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) is elected mayor. In just four episodes, the series has already restored hope in the MCU while introducing new characters who could play major roles in the future of the franchise.
Episode 4 of Daredevil: Born Again, entitled "Sic Semper Systema," may have distracted viewers from the introduction of one of the McU's newest street-level vigilantes. The return of Jon Bernthal's Punisher overshadows almost everything else that occurs in the episode, but one crucial scene marks the surprise introduction of a character who not only may play a big role...

Marvel Studios has unveiled (some of?) the Avengers: Doomsday cast, and that's given us a better idea of what to expect from both that and 2027's Avengers: Secret Wars.
Some sort of Avengers vs. X-Men clash now seems inevitable, while leaked concept art from one or both of the movies has strongly hinted that the Russo Brothers are borrowing heavily from Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic's Secret Wars comic book. The filmmakers themselves have also said it will be a key source of inspiration.
In this feature, we're revisiting the biggest, best moments from the event that we'd like to see adapted for the MCU. Not only would these cement Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom as a force to be reckoned with, but in live-action, any one of these scenes would top what we saw even in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.

Black Panther director Ryan Coogler recently shared an update on Denzel Washington's MCU casting. He remains hopeful that Washington will come on board for the third entry in the Black Panther franchise.
In an interview with Shannon Sharpe and Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson on the Nightcap podcast, Coogler said, "I’m dying to work with Denzel, and I’m hoping we can make that happen. I've got every intention of working with him in that movie and as long as he’s interested, it’s going to happen." He went on to praise Washington as a "living legend and a great mentor." Last November, Washington accidentally broke the news that he would be joining the MCU, saying that Coogler was writing a part for him in the Black Panther 3 script.

Marvel announced a pretty deep bench of stars for “Avengers: Doomsday” on Wednesday, giving fans a first look at what the new era of the team will look like. Of course, it also left us with a bunch more questions, so let’s get into those.
The next team-up film is set to hit theaters in May of next year, and will be directed by the Russo brothers, returning to the franchise after directing four other major films in the franchise. We know that Robert Downey Jr. is also returning to Marvel for the film, this time as Doctor Doom.
But here’s what we’re still wondering at this point.
Where are the women?
In total, there were 26 new cast members announced on Wednesday. Of those 26, only five were women. That ratio really should look better. The good news is, there’s reason to hope it will be.
Who else is joining up?...

Marvel Studios may have just pulled off the strangest — and most successful — stunt in superhero marketing history. In a five-hour-plus livestream event that unfolded on Wednesday, the studio very slowly unveiled the cast of Avengers: Doomsday one painful chair at a time. The event, which began at 8Am Pt and ran for a marathon 5 hours and 27 minutes, racked up a jaw-dropping 275 million digital views, making it Marvel’s most-watched livestream ever — even topping the debut trailer for Avengers: Infinity War and any of the studio’s red carpet premieres. We're just encouraging them at this point folks, come on!
Now for the boring numbers part. The stunt generated 3.1 million social media mentions, with #AvengersDoomsday trending at #1 on Twitter/X for over 7 hours and yielding more than 55 distinct trending terms throughout the day. Deadline reported that audience engagement grew hour over hour.

Despite the claims that people are done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans tuned in for a five-hour news stream of chairs being brought out that confirmed the cast of Avengers: Doomsday. Many MCU teams were present, including The Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts, along with heroes like Captain America, Shang-Chi, Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Thor, to name a few. Yet, the biggest shock was the inclusion of so many X-Men characters.
There have been X-Men teases throughout the McU's Multiverse Saga, notably Patrick Stewart's cameo in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Kelsey Grammer as Beast at the end of The Marvels, and of course, various X-Men characters like Deadpool, Wolverine, Gambit, and X-23 in Deadpool & Wolverine. Marvel fatigue is real? Someone forgot to tell the internet. The Fantastic Four: First Steps actor Paul Walter Hauser has explained why he thinks Marvel's First Family will make history with their next big-screen adventure. The actor, who will make his MCU debut in an undisclosed role in the movie this summer, asserted his confidence in the Phase Six launcher as he suggested it is "the Marvel movie of the year." However, he isn't just pinning its potential success to a single year because he also believes The Fantastic Four will stand the test of time and become a pivotal entry in the multimedia superhero franchise due, in part, to its great storytelling.

There's a lot of intrigue and excitement surrounding The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The movie is set in its own reality, meaning we'll meet the team in a retro-futurisic 1960s-inspired New York City rather than the present-day Earth-616's Big Apple.
One way or the other, we expect Marvel's First Family to eventually join the "Sacred Timeline" and share a world with The Avengers and X-Men. Marvel's First Family has also been confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday, where they'll no doubt clash with Doctor Doom.
It's already been confirmed by filmmaker Matt Shakman that the Fantastic Four are the only superheroes on their Earth, but that doesn't mean we can't see some familiar faces show up in different roles, right?
We also wouldn't be surprised if much of the final act is devoted to setting up the events of Avengers: Doomsday.

There's a lot of intrigue and excitement surrounding The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The movie is set in its own reality, meaning we'll meet the team in a retro-futurisic 1960s-inspired New York City rather than the present-day Earth-616's Big Apple.

The world is talking about Avengers: Doomsday. That's pretty impressive considering that the movie doesn't arrive in theaters for over a year, but it's the mythical power of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Truthfully, the internet has been rife with rumors about the cast of the movie for over a year now, but Marvel Studios' decision to announce the cast in a five-hour live stream sent everyone into meltdown.
Most of the castings were to be expected, with the majority of the McU's recent heavy-hitters back in action, including Anthony Mackie's Captain America and the casts of both The Fantastic Four: First Steps and Thunderbolts*. Original Avengers stars like Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr. return too; but though Hemsworth is bringing Thor back, Downey will be swapping out Iron Man's mask for Doctor Doom's. Ahead of their CinemaCon presentation on Monday, Sony Pictures has debuted the first official poster for their upcoming slasher sequel I Know What You Did Last Summer and it teases the return of a familiar hook.
While we'll have to wait until this summer to find out who's wielding the hook, we do now that the movie will feature the return of both Jennifer Love Hewitt as Julie James and Freddie Prinze Jr. as Ray Bronson. The duo starred together in the 1997 horror classic I Know What You Did Last Summer and its 1998 sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.
WIth a poster dropping today, we wouldn't be shocked to see the first teaser trailer drop during the studio's presentation on Monday night. It should among a handful of upcoming Sony projects highlighted during the event.

Recently, Marvel Studios pulled the curtain back on the biggest cinematic event the studio has put together in some time. In a grand reveal that lasted more than five hours, the full cast for next year's "Avengers: Doomsday" was unveiled to the public. Nearly 30 different cast members were confirmed, led by Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. The actor previously played Iron Man for more than a decade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, giving his casting some extra weight.
The announcement was packed with returning favorites like Chris Hemsworth as Thor as well as newcomers, among them the entire core cast from this summer's "The Fantastic Four: First Steps." It's a truly star-studded affair. With "Doomsday" also marking directors Joe and Anthony Russo's return to the MCU for the first time since "Avengers: Endgame," that's not necessarily a big surprise, either. Paul Walter Hauser is making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in this summer’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” and he’s already making quite the vow to Marvel fans. Speaking to The Direct to promote his upcoming movie “The Luckiest Man in America,” Hauser all but guaranteed that “Fantastic Four” will get Marvel back on track after its recent ups-and-downs at the box office.
“Let’s remember that Marvel is servicing a lot of folks, and they want to make a lot of entertainment for people to enjoy, and none of us are 100%,” Hauser said. “None of us hit the mark every time. Not a single one of us. Your favorite director has made a less than satisfactory movie. Just facts.”

Marvel Studios ratcheted up excitement for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday by unveiling its cast on its official YouTube account. The includes MCU mainstays such as Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth, as well as debutants like the Fantastic Four's Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby.
Marvel is also bringing back many fan-favorite Fox X-Men characters, members of the Thunderbolts, and a Wakandan contingent. However, many fans lamented the conspicuous absence of other characters, like Tom Holland's Spider-Man, Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Stephen Strange, and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk. Their worry about these absences may be premature because the studio has teased the inclusion of even more characters as the Russo brothers-helmed behemoth swings into production. In an Instagram exchange, Doctor Doom actor Downey posted, "That's what u call a deep bench of talent. It's more like a row, but an extra-long one. That must be it, right?" regarding the revealed cast.

On Wednesday, Marvel Studios asked us to "pull up a chair" for a lengthy (it ran for over five hours in the end) full(?) Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal, and the list of 27 names left fans with quite a few questions.
If you've been keeping up with rumors relating to the 2026 MCU event film, you may have been expecting the cast of Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic Four: First Steps as well as a couple of X-Men characters (we had heard that both Kelsey Grammer and Sir Patrick Stewart were set to return after their respective appearances in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and The Marvels), but by far the biggest surprise was the amount of mutants that will feature in the movie.
Joining Stewart and Grammer will be Sir Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Channing Tatum as Gambit.

The fact that there was going to be a Blade reboot as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starring Mashershala Ali in the title role, came as a huge surprise when the announcement was made at the San Diego Comic-Con back in July of 2019… but we’re coming up on the six year anniversary of that announcement, and we still haven’t seen a new Blade movie. The closest we’ve gotten is Ali making a vocal cameo as the character at the end of Eternals back in 2021. Now, industry scooper Jeff Sneider of The InSneider has given us a bit of an update on the project, which we haven’t heard much about in the last year. During its time in development hell, Blade has gained and lost two directors: Bassam Tariq was the first and Yann Demange the second. Sneider reveals that the project has also passed through...

Anthony Carrigan, the star of TV shows like Barry, and the recent horror comedy Death of a Unicorn, is set to join James Gunn's Dcu in this year's Supermanreboot. Judging by the trailer and the reaction it got, Gunn's formal feature film introduction to the Dcu franchise promises to be a solid revival of the character. However, some viewers still associate Gunn with his previous superhero run in the MCU and the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy. While keeping many of the details close to his chest, Carrigan has now teased how Superman will differ from the cherished MCU trilogy.
In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Carrigan talked Superman and his role as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, and while the actor didn't completely spill the beans about the superhero movie, he sounds as excited as everyone else: "I haven't seen anything, just the trailers. But I'm very excited.

Yesterday, Marvel Studios had us all watching a video of chairs for five and a half hours. On the plus side, we now know who will lead the cast of Avengers: Doomsday, but there were some glaring omissions.
Rumour has it that another wave of announcements is on the horizon, something Jeff Sneider addressed in the latest edition of his newsletter.
While Avengers: Doomsday has begun production, he points out that the script isn't 100% locked because "some of the actors in Marvel's massive stable are still figuring out their summer shooting schedules."
The report explains that Chris Pratt will not reprise his role as the Legendary Star-Lord because he's booked to shoot season 2 of Prime Video's The Terminal List over the coming months.
"However, if the Russos can catch him at the tail end of shooting, he might be able to swing it - it just depends on a variety of factors,...

Pull up a chair: The Avengers are assembling once again.
Marvel inundated social media on Wednesday with the cast announcement for its 2026 tentpole “Avengers: Doomsday.” Over more than five hours, the oversized superhero squad generated constant buzz (and memes) as viewers patiently watched a livestream that slowly revealed cast members’ names on the backs of director’s chairs.
It was the first official information on who will headline the first of a two-part finale to the MCU’s Multiverse Saga, and Marvel pulled out all the stops. It seems like just about everyone in Kevin Feige’s rolodex is on the call sheet. Stars from “Captain America,” “Black Panther,” “Thor” and “Ant-Man” are on the list, plus some upcoming franchise hopefuls from “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” and “Thunderbolts*.” But can “Doomsday” reach the $2.79 billion box-office heights of “Endgame”?

When the Marvel Cinematic Universe released its first tentpole film The Avengers in 2012, its success (grossing $1.5 million worldwide) set off a phase of superhero mania — where the least connected of films could get people to fill seats at the mere hint of a new casting or surprise cameo. That is not the world we’re living in now, which is why many fans were shocked when Marvel announced it would reveal the characters starring in Avengers: Doomsday in an five. hour. livestream.

At 11 a.m. this morning, the Marvel Studios social media accounts started live-streaming a video they labeled as an all-caps Announcement. The video showed a soundstage where, one by one, chairs reserved for actors were revealed, with a new chair coming into view every 10 minutes or so. As it turns out, this was a very long and slow way of revealing the star-studded cast of Avengers: Doomsday, which is now heading into production and aiming for a May 1, 2026 theatrical release.
The first chair belonged to Chris Hemsworth, who has played Thor, the God of Thunder, in Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Thor: Love and Thunder. The second chair was reserved for Vanessa Kirby, who plays Susan Storm (a.k.a. Invisible Woman) in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which will be reaching theatres on July 25th.

Marvel Studios has officially announced the cast for Avengers: Doomsday ahead of its 2026 release. Last summer, Marvel boss Kevin Feige shared that Avengers 5 would be heading in a new direction.
The movie was originally called Avengers: Kang Dynasty, but after a weak response to the villain Kang and Marvel’s decision to part ways with actor Jonathan Majors, changes were made. Feige then revealed that Robert Downey Jr. would return as Doctor Doom, making him the new main villain. The film was renamed Avengers: Doomsday, but the heroes joining the fight were not revealed at the time.
Today, Marvel Studios held a live stream on platforms like X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and Instagram to officially announce the cast. They also confirmed that the movie is now in production. On Mar. 26, 2025, Marvel Studios decided to announce the cast for Avengers: Doomsday in the most frustrating way: a live stream unveiling a series of chairs with the actors' names on them at a rate of every 15 to 20 minutes. It was equally exciting but also baffling. With each new name reveal, however, a greater piece of the McU's future comes into play. The second name revealed was Vannesa Kirby, who is set to play Sue Storm, a.k.a. The Invisible Woman, in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Yet one name that likely shocked many was the announcement of Tenoch Huerta Mejía, returning as Namor.
Namor was introduced into the MCU in 2022's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but since then, there has been no news about the character's plans, partially due to Marvel Studios not having the solo film rights for the character. Yet the news that Namor and Invisible Woman...

Over a month later, Pedro Pascal still has not gotten over his “SNL50” flub. The “Last of Us” star was one of several A-list celebrities who made a cameo appearance in the “Saturday Night Live” anniversary special.
Pascal appeared alongside Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny and “SNL” cast members Marcello Hernández, Andrew Dismukes and Chloe Fineman, among others, in the comedy show’s latest sequel to its previous, viral “Domingo” sketches. In the sketch, Pascal crashes the vow renewal of Fineman and Dismukes’ married characters and sings a parody of Carpenter’s radio hit, “Espresso,” in which he proudly recalls a previous tryst with Dismukes’ Matt.
Pascal’s cameo made waves online, but some were quick to note that he messed up his musical timing in the sketch by prematurely starting to sing his “Espresso” parody twice before the song actually began. It was a minor mistake but one that still haunts Pascal,...

Not only will the "Frasier" star will apparently be joining the action, but he'll be doing so by reprising his role as Dr. Hank McCoy/Beast from the original "X-Men" franchise.

AMC Entertainment will open 65 ScreenX and 4Dx cinema auditoriums worldwide – including, for the first time, at AMC locations in the U.S. – per a deal with Seoul-headquartered cinema system developer Cj 4DPlex. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
This is the first global partnership between the two companies, and includes 40 4Dx auditoriums and 25 ScreenX locations in the U.S. and Europe. The first ScreenX auditoriums in the agreement are expected to open this summer and the first 4Dx installations are planned to debut in the fall. The rollout is expected to be completed by 2027.

With the curtain soon to go up on CinemaCon, and as theaters look to add more lucrative premium formats in a still shaky market, AMC Entertainment and Cj 4Dplex have partnered on 65 premium ScreenX and 4Dx locations worldwide.
Some 40 4Dx theaters and 25 ScreenX theaters will debut across key AMC and Odeon locations across the U.S. and Europe starting this summer.
Cj 4Dplex is the leading producer of premium film formats and cinema technologies. AMC is the largest theatrical exhibitor. This is their first global partnership and will deliver the ScreenX and 4Dx experience to AMC’s U.S. locations for the first time.
For AMC, the first few theaters with ScreenX – which extends scenes onto the left and right walls of the auditorium – will open in time for the Hollywood summer blockbuster season. The first locations with 4Dx – which provides moviegoers with a multisensory cinematic presentation — are set to open in the fall. They want to complete the full rollout by 2027.
The second largest U.S. chain, Regal, is currently Cj 4Dplex’s largest partner Stateside with 52 4Dx theaters in operation as well as 52 ScreenX theaters. Regal opened its first 4Dx theater in the U.S. in 2014. Its relatively new auditorium at Times Square made Twisters in 4Dx go viral. Cj 4Dplex has 62 4Dx theaters and 29 ScreenX theaters with Regal’s sister companies Cineworld and Cci across Europe and Israel.
AMC and Cj 4Cplex currently operate six ScreenX auditoriums in Europe under the Odeon Cinemas banner. This deal will bring the total premium screen count for Cj 4Dplex to over 1,200 globally. It comes as theaters struggle to revive moviegoing from a prolonged slump that has seen premium formats over-index with ticket buyers. That’s likely to be a major topic at CinemaCon, the annual gathering of global exhibitors in Las Vegas that starts next Monday,
“This partnership with Cj 4Dplex to bring groundbreaking cinematic experiences Screenx and 4Dx to AMC moviegoers marks another major step forward in our commitment to delivering the most immersive, cutting-edge experiences to our millions of guests worldwide,” said Adam Aron, CEO of AMC, which operates 900 theaters and 10,000 screens globally.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be in business with the largest exhibitor in the world with one of the largest deals in the history of our company,” said Jun Bang, CEO of Cj 4Dplex. “This deal underscores the overwhelming growing popularity of both of our formats globally and serves as a significant milestone as the cinema industry continues to innovate and bring a differentiated entertainment product to moviegoers.”
“This partnership comes as we’ve secured our largest film slate ever for both ScreenX and 4Dx while simultaneously strengthening our relationships with filmmakers and major studios,” added Don Savant, CEO of Cj 4Dplex America.
ScreenX is a multi-projection cinema technology with an immersive 270-degree panoramic viewing experience, surrounding the audience with story-enhancing visuals that cannot be replicated at home. The innovative screen format places everyone in the auditorium directly at the center of the motion picture.
The ScreenX theaters will feature luxury recliner seating, Barco Laser, and immersive audio for an enhanced viewing experience. To date, there are over 430 Screenx auditoriums around the world in 40 countries.
4Dx allows audiences to connect with films through motion, vibration, wind, lightning, scents, and other special effects that enhance the visuals on-screen. Each 4Dx auditorium incorporates motion-based seating synchronized with more than 21 different effects and optimized by a team of skilled editors. To date, there are over 780 4Dx auditoriums around the world, spanning over 70 countries.
Upcoming titles in ScreenX and 4Dx include Warner Bros.’ A Minecraft Movie and Sinners, Marvel Studio’s Thunderbolt, Paramount Pictures’ Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Lionsgate’s Ballerina, Universal Pictures’ How To Train Your Dragon, Sony Pictures’ 28 Years Later, Warner Bros.’ F1, Universal Pictures’ Jurassic World Rebirth, Warner Bros.’ Superman, and Marvel Studio’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Cj 4Dplex is a part of the Cj Group conglomerate that also includes entertainment powerhouses Cj Cgv, the fifth largest theater chain in the world, and Cj Enm (Cj Entertainment & Media), producer of films including Parasite.

While he is sure to be just a little biased, The Fantastic Four: First Steps actor Paul Walter Hauser is confident that the upcoming Marvel Studios reboot will be the best movie released this year - and may even prove to be an historical benchmark for the studio.
While speaking to The Direct, the Black Bird star - who is believed to be playing the villainous Mole Man in the movie - hyped up Marvel's First Family's latest big-screen adventure by comparing it to the likes of the first Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther. He also alluded to First Steps getting the MCU "back on track."
“So, I think our movie, Fantastic Four: First Steps, to me, only speaking from my opinion, everything I witnessed and took part in, everything I felt while in the presence of the creatives on the film, I believe we are the Marvel movie of the year.

The ever-growing cast list for the upcoming MCU sequel Avengers: Doomsday continues to churn out names, and while many of the names emblazoned across the back of a chair are unsurprising, one name has stood out so far. The ongoing announcement has now confirmed that one of the MCU’s best (but sadly forgotten) villains will return to the franchise several years after making their debut.
As per the video announcement, stood alongside MCU staples such as Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, and Anthony Mackie is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Tenoch Huerta Mejía, who will return as the sometimes villain and occasional antihero, Namor. Unlike many of the names revealed so far, this comes as something of a surprise, as Namor has not played any part in the franchise since his debut back in the 2022 Black Panther sequel. Nor has there been much indication that he will be back.
