    At this time, it seems unlikely. In the 2000s, there were talks of the "Halloween" franchise crossing over with the "Hellraiser" franchise into the film "Helloween", with John Carpenter returning to direct and Clive Barker penning the screenplay. However, franchise producer Moustapha Akkad ultimately said it wouldn't be possible, claiming that "Hellraiser" antagonist Pinhead is a "movie boogeyman" while Michael Myers is a real boogeyman.

    Both essentially became monsters when they were children and are said to have the mind of a child. It could be said they are both simply mindless killers. They have the guile and skill to sneak up on their prey. But don't have much in the way of thought beyond that. It could be boiled down to a "killer instinct" like predator animals that know how to avoid detection and sneak up on their prey.



    He has apparently retired from acting. It's possible he wasn't interested in returning.
