Progress Chapter 29: Practically Progress In Every Way (2016)

Trivia

Progress Chapter 29: Practically Progress In Every Way

Edit
Another solid night of professional wrestling ends with bullshit as I am not of the opinion that any show should end with a 'No Contest' unless the audience is treated with something spectacular or unique that then he/she could take home without leaving with a sour expression; this was not that. The other big disappointment was the opener between Mr. O'Connor who, as of late, I have not been impressed with against a sloppy slob who underwhelms with each big match I see him in. There's something about the dynamic of the 'Sumerian Death Squad' that reminds me of ECW's 'The Eliminators' in that Tommy End plays the Saturn role of the smaller man leading the team and having to direct and motivate his cloddish partner, Dante playing John Kronus, to keep his eyes on the prize. In other action, ZSJ and Webster were on their way to an excellent undercard bout when Webster got exhausted, slowed-down and started getting sloppy. Dunne/Gallagher was fine; I prefer Dunne as a wrestler and Gallagher as a performer. Outside of my personal attraction to Jinny's face, I would remove all women's wrestling from Progress as they mostly suck. 'Jesus' Eaver was slightly out-performed by Moser but I didn't mind the denouncement. This show was unique in that I saw a Rampage Brown match I wasn't completely bored by. Finally, the excess of the eight-man; I guess this was the crowd's substitute for the bullcrap that was to follow, and certainly it was time The Origin actually lost a match.
