Maurecia's hair is colored purple; it was colored pink in the Wayside film.
Some of the kids from the books are cut out completely, including Allison, Benjamin, Calvin, D.J., Dameon, Deedee, Jason, Joy, Kathy, Mac, Paul, Ron, and Terrance. There's also a student in the show who wasn't in the book: Elizabeth.
All the voice actors reprise from Wayside: The Movie except for Michael Cera. Todd is voiced by Mark Rendall.
The series stopped airing on American television networks in 2013; all the episodes were officially restored on YouTube a few years later.
