Further to your question.. I would like to consider if this radiation is coming from the HARRP system being run in the US which bounces high levels of radio signals off the higher levels of the atmosphere, or perhaps a secret satellite array. Also it has occurred to me that if the radiation is affecting the casts cell phones (one of which clearly had a broken screen) and various electronic equipment. Why does it not affect the film crews recording equipment, nor the additional film clips obvious taken from the film crews drones. Also, is it possible that the UFO that was spotted when launching the rockets was just their own weather balloon that they had lost a few days earlier? I find it curious that not a single aircraft flying over head have their ID transponders switched on, perhaps this could be a systems failure within the camp. Perhaps they could draft in some survey engineers that understand the ground structure etc. An example of this was that square room they found - I think this was likely just the supporting walls in the cellar - that had conveniently been built into a square for maximum strength. Love the mystery of the program though - despite the comical science.

They don't let themselves be surprised. They are always well prepared, carrying detection equipment and equipment is stationed throughout the property. They have done soil tests and found nothing remarkable. They have seismic geophones located in three spots to catch seismic activity. The investigation is very well prepared. They don't use any special effects. What you see is a real 24/7/365 scientific investigation being run by those who are experts in their fields with third party experts brought in as needed. Thomas knows the ranch affects him. But he also knows that it won't stop if he leaves. Effects from the ranch (dubbed the hitchhiker effect) can linger for years. So he would rather be at the forefront of finding answers if it is going to continue.
