This is a great show and Danny is a great host- if he stays safe.

I really love this show and recommend that everyone with a big heart to learn and see interesting things and places with a kind funny person they should watch this one.

A commenter for a show called Really Big Things got it wrong and must be one of those mush head teens that only like bathroom humor and teen misfit movies. Only teens who like discussing disgusting things like vomit and cockroaches would watch Dirty Jobs. There is a reason that Monster Garage and American Chopper have left the airwaves. That is why American Idol is still number 1 and Monster Garage is in the trash bin of history. That was pure voyeurism and not really entertainment. Most people don't like riffraff and don't want their kids wanting to be like gang members.

Discovery Networks tried that, and though they got ratings for a time, they realized that they lost their way and their target audience. Now they are finding their way again. Really Big Things and Build it Bigger are not about bigger than life out of control celebs (most are not like this) that no sane person really wants to spend any time with, then about discovering the exciting world of of adventure around us.

When it comes to seeing and doing things that interest real curiosity seekers then these two shows are it. That is why the Mythbusters Jamie and Adam are such a real phenomenal success and Josh Berstein formerly of Digging for the Truth (on a different channel) is coming to the Discovery Channel soon as well.

Not exploring drugs, rebelling against mom and dad (and later against right and wrong), and certainly not getting drunk and cursing everyone and everything with four letter words (that have to be bleeped out here). Watch the wrestling channel or something if you want that kind of mindless entertainment.

We need more Matt's and Danny's and less Jess James and Jerry Springer on channels like this. I would not watch what's his name from Dirty Jobs flying a space shuttle simulator or any other interesting place that Matt has been and certainly would never want to be grossed out by watching someone walking in sh*t. (The promo commercial was far too much information thank you.) Please ignore the other comment and watch this exciting and fun show. We need to support good wholesome fun and education programs so there will be much less inappropriate content on these kind of channels.
