The film Chila NewGen Nattuvisheshangal is a romantic drama directed by East Coast Vijayan.
The film's narrative revolves around the protagonist's endeavours to win over her romantic interest. He aspired to enhance his financial standing in the eyes of his prospective father-in-law. He attempted a multitude of business ventures but was ultimately unsuccessful. Consequently, he agreed to marry a woman on behalf of a wealthy elderly man who was in a state of semi-consciousness. Upon the marriage, he would become the owner of the aforementioned man's wealth. However, their plans were thwarted after marriage when the elderly man regained consciousness and returned to a state of full health. Subsequently, his actual lover and father-in-law became aware of his new relationship, leading to its dissolution.
The narrative is outdated and unproductive, which detracts from the overall quality of the film. The storytelling approach is uninspiring, and the acting performances are lacklustre, particularly given the calibre of the cast. The musical numbers, however, are a notable highlight.

A decently crafted movie with lots of fun filled moments. Songs in the movie stand apart. Suraj Venjarammud and Hareesh Kanaran have played their characters with ease and extremely well. The film, apart from a lot of new faces, also has a line up of talented artists like Nedumudu Venu, Dinesh Panicker, Nobi, Bijukuttan etc. All together it is a good movie to be enjoyed with your family and friends.

We salute the courage of East Coast Vijayan Sir for taking this movie as a creative challenge for nurturing young talents like Akhil Prabhakaran, Shivakami, Sonu Jacob and bring them to play the lead roles. Also amazing lyrics by this gifted person , a great contribution to Malayalam songs . He always prefers to include simple but elegant words with full of love and passion. This is possible only with his special touch, making the songs straight to the heart. And the songs in this film sung by well renowned singers. We, Keralites welcome such gifted directors to promote exemplary movies with the traits of humor, romance and sentiments -By Mrudusree P
