Fun Characters, Shoddy Execution

I found this film at an Indoor Flea Market and it appears that it was never released. The plot focus' on a sheriff who moves his family to the mountains to get his kids away from the gangs and bad influences of LA. But as it so happens, a meteor has landed in the rural town and it has started turning the locals into zombies. This film is rife with problems, the biggest being it's plot, which is inconsistant as there is no real reason for the zombies to be alien made. The FX are lousy, with the guns being made of rubber, the blood leaving no bite marks or gouges, and the make up being standard. The quality of the film differs also from shot to shot, going from 35 mm to video to stock footage in a single cut. It could have been something interesting, if only more thought was put into it.
