Not sure why they called it "2". This is a totally separate and different story. However, good directing and acting make this movie watchable and enjoyable, plus you learn a little bit of history. Definitely it is worth to watch. Recommended. Don't go by the negative reviews. They belong to 19th century Ottoman thinking.
The film tells about a pain that has been experienced many times in Anatolia around a love story. The story is good, coincidences are okay, but there are no characters. They were both funny. Besides, the acting was very bad.

This movie, even if it's not an exactly film sequel, deserves to get attention when compared to the first one; only since the scenario tries to explore parallel stories one of which concludes and satires some sorrowful facts of Turkey political history.
But unfortunately, it's not more than average.

Normally I do not a fan of sequel movies however this movie's name is similar and content is a totally different story...Acting was good, musics were nostalgic and memorable, angles of directing was amazing and the nice blink to the first movie was made us speechless...
We love it.. Watch it, you will not regret...

Talking for 2011 part of the movie, I think male actors performance not that good and also his relationship with female actor looks really fake. He is just reading lines. Main problem is, there are no actual feelings between them. Also some of the scenes looks really amateur with absurd non stop camera angle changes . Also the movie spends many time on unnecessary things rather than important ones.

To anyone looking for a Romance or a cliche , kinda really close to The Notebook but with a nice twist, THIS is the movie for u.
The cast is great, the beginning is a bit rocky by the end it's all worth it.

The title of the move is 'Love likes coincidences', so this is a love story based on coincidences. They are lively, they are sad, they are interesting. The scenario is inspired by a real life story. But there are modifications and fictional additions in the movie.
Apart from the live story, We again see a seperation of Greek-Turkish couple. This part show us how people from both sides had to live their homes. Home, as not only the house they live in, but also the whole neighborhood they grew up. When they were leaving, they said 'we had to go, even though we know that we would be strangers even there'.
Great masters show up in the movie as side characters, which makes it even more worthwhile for seeing. Definitely recommended.

There is a Turkish song, this film reminded me that. Mor ve Otesi: Ucuz bir film gibi basindan sonu belli 😬 Meaning: Like a bad movie, ending is obvious from the beginning.. On the other side, I watched till the end and it was not so boring..

My suggestion to movie maker is him to decide whether make a historical movie or romantic movie but not to mix them together. Movie starts boring and goes like that for 1 hour until the time when I had to leave.
Its plot is plain and easy, and its actors and actresses are the worst I've ever watched In Turkish cinema. Defne says she broke up her 5 years old relationship and she is not ready to start another one; however, after day she moved to home of Kerem and they started having sex immediately. There is no romantic love or starting phase. They just decide to love each other.
Music chose among scenes is wrong and tedious.
There is nothing you can get by watching this movie(?)
