Little budget, big heart

I don't understand why people are so critical of little budget movies, like they are in the same league as blockbuster films! I don't think you can compare!

The lead was a good actor, setting was beautiful, the writing was alright, the story was sweet! Yes, some of the actors are what you pay for (not incredible, not horrible). Really the most odd thing about it was the casting of Doug Johnson, the ethnic son in a very Caucasian family hahahha. Idk maybe he was adopted. The story was sweet though, I love that it was all about family and putting them first. It lagged somewhat in the middle. But when you click to watch this movie, you know what you're signing up for- low-budget but pretty cute.

Horrifically Acted in places... but...

The main teacher is actually solid but some of the supporting actors are dreadful... but the core family decently solid... however is the film truly that bad? I've seen worse on Hallmark... BUT the acting and screenplay here is sooooo bad.

I'm astounded this actually got made... just scene after scene is poor... the sets are bad... I really can't think of anything positive to say on this one PLUS I PAID £1.99 for this dross... feel like contacting Amazon for my coin back hahaha

So considering this is the first review of the film.. it's a shame I can't be more positive but this is worse than a soap opera... hey ho onwards with the Christmas films.
