    Please please just fix it

    1. Hosts are funny! Without a host the oscars get boring and pointless mainly because of my next point 2. Stop making it political. No one wants to hear your complaint about the president. They wanna hear you thank everyone who got you this award. Stop talking about climate change and start thanking the writers, directors, producers and the fans!

Another thing is to everyone. The nominations are always fair. Just because there was no woman director nominated doesn't mean they are sexist. The nominees for best director were amazing, and it was probably really close. All the directors are some of the greatest of all time. Yes, Little Women was good, and Greta definitely did a good job, but the academy is the most PC group of people. They aren't discriminating.

Again forced feminism and silly & stupid jokes, and way too scripted!

Way too many concert performances. It needs to be cut down, seriously.Rudolph and Wiig were unbearable to watch! Joaquin Phoenix's speech was the saving grace. The reference to his late brother at the end was nice! US is avoiding China and embracing South Korea- a welcome change! German Willmijn Verkaik was a nice introduction to promote more diversity. Diversity now shining!

3.5 Stars out of 5 Stars

Joaquin Phoenix was the standout speech for me. He may come off as awkward but this was some real knowledge. Everyone needs to reconnect to the natural world. Also, Parasite was groundbreaking in this ceremony. The first international film to win best picture. CONGRATS TO THE ENTIRE CAST OF THAT FILM. Also I really enjoyed seeing Brad Pitt finally win an Oscar. Definitely deserved it.

    Good year

This year was good. Opening performance and opening monologue were good. As long as Joaquin Phoenix won best actor it would've been a good show, and with the addition of a surprise Eminem performance (and all those reactions) this year was really good. Although Parasite was not my favorite(still great film though) it was cool that it won. Definitely a good year.
