As expected, Surya delivers a solid performance, showcasing his acting prowess. Vinay also impresses with his portrayal, while Priyanka's poor acting skills are limited to a single scene.

Overall, this film can be described as clumsy, old-fashioned, and ultimately boring. It fails to capture the attention and engagement of the audience, leaving much to be desired.

Feels good to watch Suriya's film in theatre after years.

I felt like Sun Pictures could've worked more in the way marketing this film.

It didn't have much hype since the album, trailer and teaser was average.

Screenplay was really good, didn't feel like it was draggy at all, movie went quickly as it could.

A very good message delivered by the director.

Great cinematography work and awesome colour grade unlike typical colourful commercial theme.

Music was good too.

A must watch family entertainer!

I really wished D. Imman worked harder for the album.

Utter masala movie with bit tedious first half. First half is more of melodrama and repeated scenes from Pandiraj earlier movies. The movie start to pickup to high gear from the interval block.

The dance and action choreography are biggest minus points for the movie. The Songs are real speed breakers. The climax is bit dragged but cant close the masala movie better than this one.

The appreciable part is that the message delivered very well along with all other masala ingredients.

The message and the impact of the issue is conveyed in full and it makes this movie as worth a watch.

Suriya sets a benchmark by selecting a mass and aslo masala entertainer script with a powerful social massage. Truly saying he didn't turn us down yet again. It's really a enjoyable film. The climax is the Hero of this movie. Definitely watchable.

I knew this movie is going to look like a pakka mass commercial movie from the start till the end based on the actor-director. As expected it was cliched at times, cringe comedy mostly and mass elevation scenes for the hero. But all said and done, the movie stands out in the climax. You expect most of it but one small element that the director tried to showcase was totally unexpected and beautiful. Try to hold your Nerves till the end and you won't be disappointed by the end. The justification worked and the logic was good big time. Kudos to the team. All in all a One time watch capturing some very important social awareness issues.

The best scene in the film is when Suriya's character asks Priyanka's character - "Why do you need to be ashamed when none of it is your mistake?". It's a STATEMENT made! Otherwise, it's a pretty routine rural thriller with too many family sentiments thrown in. Suriya has a commanding screen presence, and he can land a punch or two pretty well. Still, the film's atrocious editing made me numb - persistently transitioning between dead-serious scenes and poorly executed cringe-comedy. The climax was also extremely annoying, with a woeful sermon to top it all.

SURIYA-PANDIRAJ WATCHABLE COMBO...SAMMA PADAM.

The story is all about "WOMEN ATROCITY" & 2.5hrs movie was very engaging and interesting to watch as the screenplay was well executed.

On one hand, movie able to show the content but on the other hand it also added the elements of entertainment.

Action well choreographed. Songs were good especially the intro song was fabulous. Suriya presence on that intro song was a different level.

Suriya acting reminded us of his role in JAI BHIM.

Vinay Rai, perfect antagonist for this film.

Priyanka Arul, Soori, Sathya raj done good performance

Overall a watchable movie with the family as it has entertainment but a message which is very well required to our society and to our law.

While there are few cinematic stuffs, the subject and the emphasis on raising boys well is worth a watch. Cast is good, from devadarshini to Saranya to illavarasu.

Never expect a movie like this from Suriya, especially after his last two brilliant movies - Soorarai Pottru and Jai Bhim. I was expecting another master class and booom!!! Within 5 minutes of the movie, I sadly realized my expectations are in vain. 'ET' is a very old fashioned movie which belong in early 1990s or 2000s, not in 2022. This is a old fashioned protector-story which don't offer anything new to the viewer. We still see outdated films like these comes once in a while, but never thought a super actor like Suriya (who works in quality movies) give date for one of such kind. Unbelievable. Not sure, what really attracted Suriya to this. The only saving grace in this tiresome movie is the songs. Overall, one of the weakest Suriya-movie in recent times.

The plot looks straight out of 80s where our all-do-good hero tries to save the victims and bring justice. However, the plot twist and a good 2nd half makes for an interesting watch. Surya and Priyanka Mohan is brilliant while the antagonist character is pretty one dimensional with an extremely out-of-place artwork one cannot relate to. Good entertainer in Netflix!!

Please don't go by the ratings of 8.8/10.. probably this was only watched by Surya fans so far... There's nothing new. Poor script and inhumane execution. Poor direction... Poor casting... Only thing that looked crazily good in the film was Surya. But 0 for story... 0 for direction, 0 for casting.. 0 for overacting by the ladies who acted as mothers... Stop repeating same stuff.

Similar to many movies of Surya the movie revolves around sending social message to the people and make the society a better place to live.

It is a very noble cause however the movie is supposed to address the problem and give the audience better solution on how they can overcome the fears; what happens to the culprits. But what it does is beats around the problem again and again without a solution or without even suggesting what could be done for a better society improvement.

That is one part of the problem with the movie, the other problem is unwanted sentiments and unwanted fight sequences and the screenplay is isn't just gripping enough to make you committed to the movie.

The premise is really good, the intro is very well made and the characters really do come together as a team and by the end of first half you get an actual sense of where this movie is headed and which is to to kill the evil element and bring peace and harmony to humanity.

But the second half the movie really disappoints, after the characters come out of the light and what is actually happening to them what are the problems they face in the society and how do they get into these situations, questions are being answered we expect some kind of smart thinking from the hero to nab the criminal and beat him in his own game.. in this case there was nothing it was just an old fashion hand on hand combat which was pretty disappointing.

So the movie starts off well, the pace is really good, songs on the apt places, the portrayal of the heroine is also really nice, but where it just goes downhill once it hits the intermission. After that there is no real answer what can be done or to say that what is the director trying to prove here so I just lacks that completeness, it just felt very rushed towards the end just to finish and was not really helpful.

The directors' take on the issue and few instances of brilliance are commendable, you will not be entirely disappointed and you will not be entirely happy so the movie is satisfactory.

Etharkum Thunindhavan (Take any risks) has taken few risks with plot which did not blend into the overall movie watching experience.

I really liked the plot...but the output of the movie is so wasted....poor screenplay and poor acting.....It would be better if the movie narrated without considering the stars.....unwanted 2 songs and overdramatic scenes,the positioning of serious and comedy scenes alternatively made no sense.....

The concept for movie is nice. But the story is not in proper line but messed up. Disappointed because never focused on the core subject. Very disappointing and even the plotline is filled with loopholes.

What a great output of pandiaraj sir and surya sir deserves a best performance in his style all cast and crew at its top notch, brilliant movie I really loves a lot....

Pandiraj who is well known for his family values in his flick goes missing in search of commercial template,it's a disaster for Surya after a roaring sucess of "SOORARAI POTTRU"&"JAI BHIM",don't know why the hell chose this flick.... Overall it's a same old wine in the same old glass.

Script is perfect, but screenplay is very poor. It's overrated by fans.

Through this movie we have to understand surya going to enter into politics. It's not a place for that. Except MGR & Vijayakanth everyone failed (Rajni, Vijay)

Movie is awasome must watch everyone . Content is also good how to and what happen in our world ... really good ever.that movie teach show how to live and how to help other .. don't hurt anyone.

Actor Suriya's earlier movie Jai Bhim gave confidence on Judicial system. And in the very next movie Actor chose a film where the Judicial system was not of help and he had to decide the fate of the criminals. Movies wise both can be justified!

This reminded me of an earlier movie in Tamil Ramana where the protagonist is sentenced to death and the remake of the film in Telugu freed the protagonist. It is just the screenplay and my doubt is are both these possible!?

Most expected from Jai Bheem, but acting of Surya is artificially managed in entire flilm. Same kind of stories concept not fitted with Surya compare with Dhanush.

He want to say something for society, but all the time same route and same visuals not fitted for this movie.

This is Suriya in "Human Tsunami" mode. He is good at it, and he is believable, as three Singham movies have shown.

But there is also a human element, a love story, and a message about the systematic and institutionalized abuse of women and girls, and Suriya also makes those work.

There are some shortcomings, however. Sathyaraj is an exceptionally talented actor who isn't given a lot to do, and Vinay Rai, who is a genius at playing complex, multi-dimensional Antagonists, was given a single-note, "tie Polly Pureheart to the railroad tracks" Villain, complete with Evil Laugh(tm).

As other reviewers have noted, the multi-layered flashbacks are a little chaotic, and there are parts of the movie where a spreadsheet or a flowchart would come in handy.

That said, it is a decent entertainer, and it doesn't stall or lose the narrative, as it so easily could have.

Guys, don't listen to haters who spread negativity. They are trying to degrade the movie.

This will be the hit for Sun Pictures after the disappointing Annaatthe.

1st half: Suriya intro great followed by a best interval.

2nd half: Climax is amazing and the Thandavam bgm which will be used for climax exceeded my expectations.

ET have exceeded my expectations which is Thandavam bgm for climax. I think I may become a huge hit for Suriya.

Thus, ET may be a must watch for women and family audience.
