Avenue 5

Edit
The Judd HQ building with Control Room is actually the McLaren Formula 1 racing team's HQ and media briefing room.
On February 13, 2020, the show was renewed for a second season after four episodes.
Season 1 premiered in January 2020 and was renewed for a second season in February of that year, just a couple of weeks before the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Filming on the new season, delayed by Covid, finally got underway in August 2021 and wrapped in November. According to Deadline, it looks like the show is highly unlikely to be renewed for a third season because the cast has already been released from their contracts before the second season even premiered.
In a fun connection to (space) flight, it was shot on the vast soundstages at Warner Bros Studios, Leavesden, UK, at the former Leavesden Aerodrome airfield site originally used to test and manufacture aircraft by de Haviland, Hawker Siddeley, and Rolls-Royce. The Studios are literally the size of aircraft hangars, hence the ability to build such vast interior sets for real.
Based on Swedish Nobel laureate Harry Martinson'a 1956 epic sci-fi poem "Aniara." This is a more comedic take on his dark tale. The 2019 film "Aniara" is likely what prompted this series.
