Zahid shot to fame with his hit numbers 'Toh Phir Aao' and 'Tera Mera Rishta' from the Mohit Suri-directed 'Awarapan', starring Emraan Hashmi and Shriya Saran. Thereafter he rendered 'Jo Tere Sang', 'Gunaah' and 'Teri Yaadon Mein' from the recent Vishal Mahadkar-directed 'Blood Money'. Director Mohit Suri, who has depicted various shades of love through his films Zeher, Kalyug, Woh Lamhe and Awarapan, is all set to direct a romantic saga Aashiqui 2, which is being touted as Aashiqui sequel. Mumbai, Oct 6: Mrinalini Sharma who debuted in the Hindi film industry with the item number in the movie “Apaharan”, 6 years back. She is known for her calm sober demure looks. Mrinalini has acted in only a few films till now, but her fresh face which promises the Indian viewers of many good films, is quite popular. It was her role as Reema in “Awarapan” which released in 2007, that made her quite a known face in the industry. But this time, she has gone for a total makeover, and returns to the silver screen after a year, in a total glam avatar.

Renowned Pakistan rock star, Mustafa Zahid, the lead vocalist of the band, Roxen, has been snapped up by the Bhatts to sing for debuting director Vishal Mahadkar’s Blood Money. The film stars Kunal Khemu and Amrita Puri (Aisha) in the lead.

Mustafa had last composed and rendered two hit numbers, ‘To Phir Aao’ and ‘Tera Mera Rishta’, for Mohit Suri’s Emraan Hashmi-starrer Awarapan, which was also produced by Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt.

Blood Money was in the news recently for the Bhatts signing up Pritam’s ex-partner Jeet to score the music for this production. Mustafa is believed to have sung for Jeet’s compositions.

The music of Blood Money is expected to release later this year.
