The Black Demon: 28% Rotten Tomatoes Sci-Fi Horror Film Tops Streaming Charts
Image
A forgotten sci-fi horror film with a 28% score on Rotten Tomatoes is now dominating streaming charts worldwide. The resurgence of such titles highlights the long and strange history of the genre, which often blends futuristic technology with primal fears. Early films like The Thing from Another World (1951) and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), for instance, used alien threats as metaphors for Cold War anxieties.

The genre changed dramatically with Ridley Scott's Alien in 1979, a landmark film that combined claustrophobic horror with sleek and industrial sci-fi. Its influence can be seen in films like The Thing (1982), Event Horizon (1997), and The Mist (2007), each film pushing psychological and body horror even further.

Max Martini & Brianna Hildebrand To Star In Thriller ‘Bethesda’
Image
Exclusive: Max Martini (Pacific Rim) and Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool & Wolverine) are starring in the thriller Bethesda, the directorial debut from Andrew and Isaac Lewis, also known as The Lewis Brothers. The film has completed production.

Bethesda is described as a neo-Western thriller set in desolate West Texas in the early ’90s. The story centers on a dying ex-Texas Ranger with a violent past, and the young woman he rescues from a life of drugs and forced prostitution. After killing the brother of a border-town crime lord, the two broken strangers go into hiding from the pseudo-philosophical assassin hired to kill them. While on the run, they find redemption within each other in this dark and violent land where the line between good and evil is blurred, where the only rule is that of survival. The screenplay was written by Matt Black.

Also starring are James Landry Hebert, Julio Cedar Cedillo, Veronica Falcón and Marlene Forte.

Executive producer is Paul Reichelt of Appalachian Film. Bethesda is produced by William Kaufman alongside Andrew and Isaac Lewis for Denton Film, Jon Wroblewski and Christian Sosa for Roosevelt Film Lab, Adrian Testolin, and Grant Wakefield. This is the third collaboration between Roosevelt Film and Denton Film.

“As filmmakers, we have always wanted to tell a story that explores what West Texas really looked like, specifically in the early 1990s,” the Lewis Brothers said in a statement. “We took inspiration from films such as the Coen Brothers’ Blood Simple and No Country for Old Men.”

Added Reichelt: “Collaborating with this exceptional cast and crew has been a true creative high point,” and “We’re excited to reunite for Bethesda, which marks an impressive debut from Andrew and Isaac Lewis. Their bold vision and distinct voice are already making waves on the indie film circuit. We’re looking forward to a strong and successful festival run.”...

The Best Shark Movies That Aren't Jaws Have One Key Thing In Common
Image
We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.

Steven Spielberg's "Jaws" is one of the most commercially successful, critically beloved, and important blockbuster movies ever made. Full stop. It just turned 50 this week, and few movies that are five decades old look quite as fresh to modern audiences as this masterful, terrifying depiction of man vs. nature. Put simply, it's the best shark movie ever made -- and it's not even close.

Me saying that "Jaws" is the greatest shark movie to ever grace the silver screen is far from original, it's pretty much accepted as fact (or as close as one gets to fact when expressing a critical opinion). That being the case, it's not surprising that we've had many shark movies over the years that have tried to mimic the success of Spielberg's 1975 cinematic classic. Some have been sort of successful (like "Great White...

‘The Black Demon: Atlantis’ – Megalodon Sequel Will Feature Shark vs. Other Giant Sea Predators
Image
From Rambo: Last Blood director Adrian Grünberg, The Black Demon was released in theaters back in 2023, and Variety reports this week that a shark attack sequel is on the way.

The title? The Black Demon: Atlantis. The synopsis? It’s kind of bonkers, sounds like an unofficial The Meg movie, and seemingly aims to be way more fun than the first Black Demon.

Variety details, “The sequel follows undercover DEA agent Jerry Simms (Kesy) who teams up with his cellmate, Chato, in a maximum-security prison stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, to dismantle a massive drug operation run by the notorious crime boss Diego Nunez.

“Their mission quickly becomes one of survival when the legendary creature, The Black Demon, tears through the prison, which sits atop a decaying desalination plant polluting the ocean. In a desperate move to protect his empire, Diego unleashes his own giant sea predators to take down the beast.

Zeus: Texas Chainsaw Massacre director takes the helm of killer dog movie
Image
The latest film in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise – a movie simply titled Texas Chainsaw Massacre – was released through the Netflix streaming service back in February of 2022, and it appeared to do well at the time. It was the second most viewed movie on the service during the February 14 to February 20 time period – which only covered its first three days of release. In those three days, Netflix subscribers streamed the film for a total of 29.18 million hours. Texas Chainsaw Massacre also ranked in the top 10 in 94 countries, reaching #1 on the daily lists in the United States, Bolivia, Brazil, Honduras, Oman, Philippines, and Saudi Arabia. We’re still waiting to hear how and when the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise is going to follow up that success – but while we wait to hear what Leatherface is going to do next, the film’s director David Blue Garcia has signed on to direct...

'The Last Breath' Review - This Sharksploitation Horror Both Sinks and Swims
Image
The "Sharksploitation" subgenre has struggled to produce dominant hits since 2016's The Shallows. Between examples like The Black Demon and The Requin, fans of fin flicks have been subjected to an overflow of waterlogged atrocities. Joachim Hedn seemed destined to turn the tides with The Last Breath, coming from a filmmaker who'd already astounded us with underwater thrills in Breaking Surface (2020). Submerged cinematography is once again sharp, and the claustrophobia of being trapped inside a shipwreck while diving is real, but chalk another loss for sharky cinema. The Last Breath is competent to a point, without ever exceeding or even achieving baseline aquatic horror standards.

Review: Something In The Water is Another Shark Attack Movie That’s Not About a Shark Attack
Image
The Requin. The Reef: Stalked. The Black Demon. Now Something in the Water. I’m reaching my breaking point with shark attack movies that are too distracted by other plotlines to deliver on their promise: shark attacks. Hayley Easton Street’s Something in the Water might be the biggest offender listed, taking roughly thirty minutes until the first shark-related incident, then another fifteen(ish) minutes for the first of frustratingly few substantial shark spottings. Cat Clarke’s screenplay tries to establish poignant storytelling about hate crimes, broken relationships, and debilitating traumas, but in doing so, forgets about the massive shark plastered all over the film’s marketing materials. Street and Clarke aim to elevate shark cinema with emotional throughlines, but sink the entire project with an alarmingly imbalanced approach.

The film opens with same-sex couple Meg (Hiftu Quasem) and Kayla (Natalie Mitson) strolling home one night, publicly displaying their love,...

How ‘Land of Bad’ Distributor The Avenue Is Disrupting the Action Thriller Space
Image
It’s been four years since The Avenue first launched, and the indie distributor just scored its first top 10 film with William Eubank’s “Land of Bad.”

The action flick starring Liam Hemsworth, Russell Crowe, Luke Hemsworth, Ricky Whittle and Milo Ventimiglia opened on Feb. 16, had the fourth-highest per screen average over the holiday weekend and was the only independent film in the top 10.

While indie films in awards contention can often make a modest box office dent, it’s unusual for an action film like “Land of Bad” to reach such heights: the actioner’s four-day total on opening weekend was $2.1 million from 1,057 screens.

President of domestic marketing and distribution JJ Caruth says the box office success of “Land of Bad” is a strong signal that audiences are hungry for more action-packed movies. “I’m just happy to see an independent film succeed at the box office. It’s...

Land Of Bad - Release Date, Cast, Plot And More Info
Image
Another Russell Crowe and Liam Hemsworth collaboration was not a square on our 2024 pop culture Bingo card, yet it looks like we're about to check it off. Moviegoers are due to see the pair of Aussies team up for the second time in as many years in February's military action thriller "Land of Bad." The pair recently co-starred in the 2022 movie "Poker Face" (no relation to the TV show of the same name), a thriller about a high stakes poker game gone wrong that was directed by Crowe himself.

This time around it's not a card game that goes wrong, but a mission. "Land of Bad" follows a group of military men on an extraction assignment in the Philippines that takes a bloody turn, leaving one young officer at the mercy of the elements and local militia. Fortunately, he's not alone: he's got Russell Crowe's drone pilot droning in his ear,...

‘Ahsoka’ Makes Strong Debut on Streaming Charts
Image
The newest Star Wars series on Disney+, Ahsoka, delivered a sizable viewing audience during its opening week. Suits continued its summer-long run as the top overall title.

The first two episodes of Ahsoka, starring Rosario Dawson as the title character, had 829 million minutes of viewing in the United States for the week of Aug. 21-27. With a total running time of 100 minutes over the two installments, that translates to about 8.29 million complete showings of the two. (Disney+ said the first episode alone gathered the equivalent of 14 million complete plays worldwide over its first five days.)

Ahsoka’s 829 million minutes of viewing ranks second among Disney+ Star Wars shows for their series premiere weeks, behind the 1.03 billion for Obi-Wan Kenobi in May 2022. Josh Lucas calls 'The Black Demon' a classic shark adventure with family at its core
Image
Actor Josh Lucas, has called his latest sci-fi-thriller film, ‘The Black Demon’ a classic shark adventure, which has the essence of family at its core. Elaborating on this point, the actor said, “’The Black Demon’ is a classic action-adventure shark story. And without a doubt, one of the things I think that makes it special is that it’s got a family, a young family at its core.

“So hopefully, it’s a movie that kids love. It’s a movie that hopefully parents will love. I partly made this movie because I have a nine-year-old boy who loves these kinds of movies.”

The film follows the family of Paul Sturges (Josh Lucas) and his family who get stranded on an oil rig, which harbours the vengeance of a very angry Megalodon. The creature is believed to be a herald of an ancient Aztec god and kills the greedy.

The Black Demon 2 Teased By Producers After The Shark Movie's Runaway Success On Prime
Image
"The Black Demon" is a new shark movie directed by Adrian Grünberg and features an ensemble cast including Josh Lucas and Fernanda Urrejola. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie is performing well on Prime Video, surpassing other popular titles like "Red, White, & Royal Blue." Producer Javier Chapa believes part of the movie's success is due to its Latinx representation both in front of and behind the camera, appealing to a hungry Latinx audience. Producers are already discussing a sequel.

A sequel to The Black Demon could be in the cards. The movie, which debuted on Prime Video on August 22, is a brand-new giant shark movie from Rambo: Last Blood director Adrian Grünberg that features an ensemble cast that includes Josh Lucas, Fernanda Urrejola, Julio Cesar Cedillo, and Omar Chaparro. Shark Movie The Black Demon Beats Prime Video's Major Releases To Score #1 Streaming Spot
Image
Indie shark movie The Black Demon has become the top streaming film on Prime Video, surpassing major releases, thanks to its low-budget appeal. The Black Demon's success may be attributed to the popularity of the recent Meg franchise, showcasing the continued interest in shark-centered movies. The film fills a niche for monster-like ocean movies and has capitalized on the fear and intrigue surrounding giant sharks, potentially setting the stage for a sequel.

A surprising shark movie, The Black Demon, has taken over the Number 1 streaming spot for Prime Video, besting the platform's major releases. The indie sci-fi thriller follows oilman Paul Sturges (Josh Lucas) on a family vacation that gets interrupted by a Megalodon attack. The film received a 31% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, but found favorable reviews with its audience score of 80%.

Now, The Hollywood Reporter reveals that The Black Demon has surpassed multiple Prime Video releases to...

The Black Demon sequel being discussed after the movie held Amazon’s number-one streaming spot for seven days
Image
Despite facing stiff competition from major studio movies such as Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Cocaine Bear, one low-budget shark movie has reigned above them all. The Black Demon held the number-one spot on Amazon’s streaming rankings for seven days, which has prompted discussion of a sequel.

The Black Demon is a shark thriller with a supernatural edge that follows a family stranded on a crumbling oil rig in Baja facing off against a vengeful megalodon shark. Produced for just under $10 million, The Black Demon may not have received the best reviews upon release, but it’s clear that there’s an audience for the movie.

“No one has ever seen a genre shark movie with a Latino bent,” Black Demon producer Javier Chapa told THR. “That’s where we saw the opportunity, given our company’s ethos is all about really supporting people of color on...

Scrappy Shark Movie ‘The Black Demon’ Beats Out ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty,’ ‘Red, White & Royal Blue’ on Amazon’s Top 10
Image
Call it Montezuma’s revenge. Or more precisely in this case, Tlaloc’s revenge.

Amid the hype for the second season of the The Summer I Turned Pretty or feature Red, White & Royal Blue, another Amazon title has quietly been reigning over the streaming service’s top 10.

The Black Demon, a shark movie with a supernatural and Latino bent, has claimed in the number one spot on Amazon’s streaming rankings for seven consecutive days since its debut Aug. 22, beating out not just those Amazon sensations, but also major studio fare such as Universal’s Cocaine Bear and Paramount’s Dungeons & Dragons, which also sit in the streamer’s daily top 10 ranking of most-watched entries in the U.S.

It’s an impressive feat, given that the film, made for under $10 million, had just a small marketing spend, though without actual viewing numbers, it’s hard to judge the...

‘The Black Demon’ Review On Prime Video: Josh Lucas-Starrer Is Hardly As Thrilling As You’d Like It To Be
Image
How many shark movies are too many shark movies? And how many ways are there for them to showcase something that hasn’t already been done to death? Directed by Adrian Grunberg and written by Carlos Cisco and Boise Esquerra, The Black Demon borrows the same trope as Jaws and the Meg series—exploring the theme of an enormous monster living in the oceans, preying on humans because of their consistent greed in wanting to take over nature. Here, the real, iniquitous behemoth is not the beast in the waters but the fictional oil conglomerate. Sadly, none of the events in the movie amount to anything substantial, and the ideas all seem half-baked before just boiling down to a dispassionate family drama. The least you would expect is for the movie to have a decent amount of jump scares and high-tension moments that leave you on the edge of your seat,...

Who Is Tlaloc In The Black Demon? Why Chato Believes The Aztec God Sent The Shark
Image
The inclusion of Tlaloc's history in "The Black Demon" adds depth and interest to the film, turning it into something more than just a simple monster movie. The shark in the film is seen as a vengeance-seeking predator sent by Tlaloc to punish humans for their greed and mistreatment of the environment. The religious theme of the film makes the humans, particularly the oil company, the villains rather than the shark, highlighting the destructive consequences of human avarice and emphasizing the importance of acknowledging and rectifying these actions.

Tlaloc is referenced in The Black Demon as an Aztec god whose real-life backstory lends credibility to Chato's belief that the deity sent the shark. Directed by Adrian Grunberg, The Black Demon focuses on Nixon Oil inspector Paul Sturges (Josh Lucas) trying to turn a routine rig inspection in Baja, California into a peaceful family vacation when a giant megalodon shark...

Where Was The Black Demon Filmed?
Image
The Black Demon, a sci-fi thriller about a family encountering a dangerous shark, was filmed in the Dominican Republic, not in Mexico, where the story takes place. The production used various locations in the country. Some scenes of the movie had to be filmed in a studio due to the involvement of a fictional Megalodon. Pinewood Dominican Republic Studios provided a large water tank for filming intense ocean sequences. The water tank at Pinewood Dominican Republic Studios has been used for other movies like The Lost City, Old, and 47 Meters Down. It offers a practical alternative to filming in the open ocean.

The Black Demon jumps on the Megalodon hype train and depicts the story of a family encountering one of the gigantic dangerous sharks while visiting an oil rig in Baja California, a state in Mexico. However, the 2023 science fiction thriller movie was not filmed in the same location where it took place.

Puppy Love Review | Not Enough Bark or Bite
Image
The idea must have sounded great on paper. Cull from popular Buzzfeed videos dubbed Puppyhood — cute yet manipulative — and make a film about an unlikely couple whom fate has drawn together. Make that two dogs. Let the tail-wagging begin. Thing is, in Amazon Freevee’s new doggy rom-com, Puppy Love, there’s not much to wag about. You want there to be, but alas, this dog has already been put to pasture 15 minutes in. The premise — one that has been used before countless times — could have worked if the story offered more than just a quirky meet cute that becomes incredibly predictable.

Still, if you’re craving something sweet (to the point of inducing cavities) that feels plucked out of the 1990s rom-com cellar, then take this pup for a walk. In the meantime, let’s see what went wrong (and the few things this film got right).

Shudder’s ‘Sharksploitation’ Gives the Subgenre the Respect It Deserves
Image
If the past three years have been any indication, there is currently a wave of renewed interest in shark movies. Swimming alongside these new screen sharks is Shudder’s recent documentary exploration of shark horror, Sharksploitation.

‘The Machine’ Tops New VOD Releases, but ‘John Wick,’ ‘Fast X,’ and ‘Super Mario’ Stay Strong
Image
On the VOD charts, action rules. A recent price drop to $5.99 has propelled “John Wick: Chapter 4” (Lionsgate) to continued #1 positions at iTunes and Google Play, while revenue-ranking Vudu kept “Fast X” (Universal) in the top position. “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” (Universal), price now reduced to $19.99 (including download) placed #2 at all three sites.

New entry “The Machine” (Sony), an action comedy starring Bert Kreischer, here adapting his semi-biographical stand-up routine, is #3 at Vudu at $19.99 while placing on a three charts. It hit home viewing after its fourth weekend in theaters, where it managed only $10 million in gross.

After a recent spate of theatrical releases dominating Netflix’s top ten movie chart, their home-grown titles took six of the slots this week. “Extraction 2” repeats at #1, with their usual eclectic mix taking other slots.

The Black Demon review – daft but fun giant-shark mayhem on Mexican oil rig
Josh Lucas
Sincere performances and lively banter turn hokey into entertaining as Josh Lucas’s engineer and his family do battle with a megalodon

It would seem that megalodons are the menace of the moment. These ginormous sharks, thought to be extinct for millions of years, have been retro-spawned for entertainment purposes by the audiovisual-industrial complex – specifically in the Meg franchise but also on the Discovery Channel – because great white sharks, veterans of the Jaws movies, just don’t cut it any more. Still, in thematic terms there’s a throughline that connects most shark movies: one way or another, they’re all about the return of the repressed, with the sharks manifesting the oceanic subconsciousness’ raging, violent id that has been enraged by the human superego effort at mastery over nature. In the original Jaws, it’s not so much Bruce the shark that’s the big bad as it is the township’s greedy mayor,...

‘Black Demon’ Review
Image
Stars: Josh Lucas, Fernanda Urrejola, Venus Ariel, Carlos Solorzan, Julio Cesar Cedillo, Jorge A. Jimenez | Written by Carlos Cisco, Boise Esquerra | Directed by Adrian Grunberg

After the trainwreck that was Cocaine Shark and with the spectre of Jurassic Shark 3: Seavenge looming over me, The Black Demon, or any other shark film for that matter, may not have been an obvious choice. But this one caught my attention when it was announced and the idea of a finned fear film with enough of a budget to give it some bite was hard to say no to.

Paul Sturges is the safety officer for Nixon Oil, a corporate name that does not exactly inspire confidence. He has been sent to Baja to inspect one of the company’s rigs and has brought his family along. He may have to work but his wife Ines, daughter, Audrey, and son Tommy can have a vacation.

The Black Demon Trailer Breakdown: Nature Bites Back
Image
Movies based on mythologies and told legends are usually an excellent source of entertainment because, unlike pure fiction, we believe those creatures used to exist/are still living somewhere in the world. Movies like Jaws, The Meg, and Troll depict these notions accurately by displaying these creatures' terrifying capabilities. The Black Demon, an upcoming film, offers a similar scenario about a Mexican legend.

The plot of The Black Demon revolves around Paul Sturges (Omar Chaparro), who combines work with a family vacation by taking his family to an oil rig off the coast of Mexico. However, upon his arrival, he discovers that the town has changed and is now filled with a dark atmosphere reminiscent of a ghost town. Despite warnings from locals about the "black demon shark," Paul takes his family to the oil rig only to become stuck there with no way out. Paramount Movies have released the...

Interview: Josh Lucas discusses the shark thriller The Black Demon
Image
The giant shark known as the Megalodon has seen quite the resurgence thanks to films like 2018’s The Meg. Usually destined to the SyFy channel, we’ve been lucky enough to see some of these silly aquatic thrillers make their way to cinemas. The Black Demon may just be the silliest of the lot, featuring a Megalodon out to take out an oil rig that’s poisoning the water. And the only person that can stop this prehistoric beast is someone I had the fortune of chatting with recently. Josh Lucas stars as Paul Sturges and he had plenty of interesting things to say about both The Black Demon, as well why the Marvel films have disappointed him lately. All this and more in the video embedded above!

Our own Cody Hamman reviewed the film here and seemed to have a fun time, despite its mediocrity. It certainly doesn’t...

“The Black Demon”
“The Black Demon” is a new ‘killer shark’ movie, directed by Adrian Grunberg, starring Josh Lucas opening in theaters April 28, 2023:

“…oilman ‘Paul Sturges’ (Lucas) takes his family on vacation to Bahia Azul. The coastal town he and his wife once knew had mysteriously crumbled with locals nowhere to be found. Paul starts off his day with a routine visit to inspect his nearby oil rig, but before he knows it, his entire family has landed with him on a rotting metal tower.

“From the depths of the ocean rises a massive megalodon known only by its name: the ‘Black Demon’.

“Under constant threat from this primeval species of shark, Paul must find a way to get his family back to shore alive…’

The Black Demon Review
Image
Plot: When a leaky oil rig awakens a vengeful god in the form of a megalodon shark, an oil man is trapped on the rig with his family and the surviving workers.

Review: There are a whole lot of shark thrillers out there, but not many of them have a supernatural edge. That makes director Adrian Grunberg’s The Black Demon stand out from the pack a bit, because while the shark in this thriller is described as being a megalodon, like the sharks in The Meg and Shark Attack 3 and probably plenty of others, this isn’t just a megalodon that has resurfaced from the prehistoric age. This movie, which has marketing material that informs that it’s “based on the Mexican legend”, presents us with a giant shark that is actually a vengeful god, awakened by the pollution that has been spilled in its waters, and is able...

‘The Black Demon’ Review – Supernatural Spin on Shark Horror Can’t Keep the Narrative Afloat
Image
The legend of El Demonio Negro, or The Black Demon, brings a mythical, almost supernatural, quality to this latest shark attack horror feature. Director Adrian Grünberg (Rambo: The Last Blood), working from a script by Boise Esquerra and Carlos Cisco, dials in on the folkloric aspect of The Black Demon to wield the horror as a cautionary entry in eco-horror rather than a conventional shark attack feature. Fresh mythology struggles to keep these shark infested waters afloat, however.

Corporate oilman Paul Sturges (Josh Lucas) brings his wife Ines (Fernanda Urrejola) and kids Audrey (Venus Ariel) and Tommy (Carlos Solórzano) with him on a visit to Baja. The family trip to explore Ines’ roots doubles as work for Paul, who hopes to boat out to his company’s rig off the Baja coast for an inspection before rejoining his family on vacation. Paul arrives at the crumbling rig to find it leaking oil,...

Who Plays Yellowstone's Young John Dutton: Josh Lucas Movie & TV Roles
Image
Josh Lucas plays a younger version of Yellowstone's John Dutton on the hit Paramount series, but here's a guide to his many other film and television credits. Lucas is the son of an ER doctor and a midwife. Instead of following his parents into medicine, the young Lucas decided to become an actor. Amid rumors of Kevin Costner leaving Yellowstone, there's been heavy speculation regarding the future of Lucas' role as the young version of Costner's character.

Indeed, though Lucas has had a long career prior to the Taylor Sheridan flagship show, he is mostly known today as the actor who plays young John Dutton. Apart from his resemblance to the Hollywood legend, Josh Lucas' performance in Yellowstone cements him as the only other actor who can actually do justice to playing the iconic rancher. While it remains unclear whether Costner is leaving Yellowstone or not, no such rumors have hounded Lucas,...

‘The Black Demon’ Finally Gives Us a Rated “R” Megalodon Movie on the Big Screen
Image
Back in 2018, Steve Alten’s The Meg finally came to the big screen, but not in the form that we had originally been promised. The big screen Megalodon horror movie was released with a PG-13 rating – much to the chagrin of star Jason Statham – leaving fans hungry for a shark attack movie with a bit more bite. And it looks like we’re getting one this year.

From Rambo: Last Blood director Adrian Grünberg, The Black Demon will be released in theaters on April 28, and we’ve learned today that it’s Rated “R” for “Some grisly images.”

Music to our ears. Stay tuned for our review, coming soon!

In The Black Demon…

“When oilman Paul Sturges takes his family to Bahia Negra, the crown jewel of Baja and the site of Paul’s best-performing rig, the vibrant Mexican coastal town he once knew has mysteriously crumbled. In the decrepit ghost town,...
