Lim Soo-jung, Jeon Hye-jin, and Lee Da-hee in Geomsaekeoreul Ibryeokhaseyo: WWW (2019)

Review by cmswrn

Geomsaekeoreul Ibryeokhaseyo: WWW

5/10

Debbie Downer

The main characters and love interests were such a drag on the whole series - seriously Debbie Downers. They say "Misery loves company" - I sure didn't want any of their misery.

Also, The writers seemed to jam pack themes currently plaguing society which was so evident that it was unnatural for all these themes to be going on in one series. What a huge mistake.

I would have to say both Ba Ta Mi and especially Song Ga Kyeong were suffering from chronic depression and could not allow themselves to be happy. Solution - alcohol! The writers dragged their miserable life's on and on and on...It simply makes for a very Debbie Downer series.

Would I recommend this series - NO.

Although I learned a few things about this line of business - I found myself fast forwarding to the interactions between Lee Dae Hee & Lee Jae Wook. Refreshing, genuine, blossoming love. Both provided the UTMOST needed lifts for this Drama. The small roles they had together lit up this series. Lee Jae Wook was convincingly new to love, awkward, and believably humble. I would have given more stars if these two actors had bigger parts.

Love to see what both Lee's have in store for the future. They have a charisma and look wonderful on screen - tall and leggy with beautiful genuine smiles. Awesome onscreen presence.

I did watch Lee in Alchemy of Souls - I wished the writers would have allowed Lee to be more himself instead of hard nosed reserved and stoic - but it's understandable given the character's history. That series was tremendous and Lee Jae Wook and supporting cast had terrific chemistry. But that's a - Definitely Don't Miss Series !!!
