There are several incredible K-drama actors, and many of them have never acted in projects together. This is despite the fact that some actor pairings feel as though they would be perfect choices for any k-drama, fitting all sorts of different genres, covering everything from comedy to crime drama. Many of them have been the subject of perfect k-drama casting before, and with these co-stars they could be again.
Choosing co-stars for any show requires striking a delicate balance, finding what works about an actor's performance and amplifying that quality. It is this sort of chemistry and hard work that has resulted in some of the best k-dramas of all time. More great k-dramas could be made with these actor pairings, and hopefully viewers will have the opportunity to see them share the screen in the future.

Korean dramas have taken the movie and television industry by storm in recent years, and while they were once synonymous with romance stories, that has changed. Despite Korea's long-standing reputation as home to some of the world's finest cinema, the success of television shows like Stranger, Signal, K2, and Voice has repeatedly proven that the industry can produce masterpieces even on the small screen. The Uncanny Counter is one such Korean drama that has garnered enormous popularity in recent years.
The Uncanny Counter is a South Korean television series based on a popular webtoon by Jang Yin. The drama's first season aired from November 2020 to January 2021 before concluding with 16 episodes and an emotional and beautiful climax for fans who had been on the journey for three months.
With the series renewed for a second season, fans were eager to see what So Mun (Cho Byeong Kyu) and the other Counters would be getting up to.

With the recent trend of Hollywood pitting a star female duo together in a film as buddy cops, hustlers, swindlers, etc., it wasn’t going to be too long before South Korea followed suit and sure enough, 2019 gave us “Miss & Mrs. Cops” by Jung Da-won.
Foul-mouthed hot shot cop Park Mi-young used to be a part of an elite all-women’s task force in the Seoul Metropolitan police department, but as the sole breadwinner of the family after the birth of her son, she transferred to the Civil Complaints department in the Force. Now, she spends her days sat behind a desk handling civil complaints, gossiping with her colleague Yang Jang-mi and sucking up to her superior in order to save her job from an impending lay-off. Her troubles only increase when her young police officer sister-in-law Jo Ji-hye gets transferred to her department on disciplinary action for assaulting a civilian.

The South Korean entertainment business has been shaken deeply by scandal in the past year, and the fallout is still being felt across the board.
As K-pop superstars Bts glide triumphantly across the U.S. on a sold-out tour, fellow music superstar Seungri (ne Lee Seung-hyun) of boy band Bigbang is in the middle of one of the worst scandals in the Korean entertainment industry involving drug distribution, prostitution, hidden-camera footage, police corruption, embezzlement and tax evasion in a nightclub owned by Seungri.
Most damning were messages from Seungri on a Korean Im service KakaoTalk, in which he had discussed, planned and shared illegal acts in the group chat along with his business partners and fellow K-pop talents.
The #MeToo movement has been slow to gain traction in the Korean entertainment industry, but the unlawful acts that took place in Seungri’s Burning Sun nightclub immediately faced the public condemnation.

"There's no one else." Cj Entertainment has debuted official Us trailers for South Korean comedy Miss & Mrs. Cops, the latest film from director Jung Da-Won. Cj is getting better and better at bringing all their major releases to Us theaters the same day they open in South Korea, and this film will be in Us theaters later this week. The film is about two sisters at a police department who find themselves in the middle of a suicide case when a young woman throws herself in front of a bus while the two are on duty. Mi-young and Ji-hye find out that the woman is the victim of a digital sex crime. When no one else will take the case, the sisters-in-law open their own investigation. This stars Ra Mi-ran, Lee Sung-kyung, Yoon Sang-hyun, Choi Soo-young, and Yeom Hye-ran. This does look quite goofy, but may still be entertaining to watch.
