Joel Courtney in Jesus Revolution (2023)

Trivia

Jesus Revolution

Edit
One of the men that Lonnie Frisbee, portrayed by Jonathan Roumie, talks to on the pier is Paras Patel who also plays Matthew in The Chosen (2017) alongside Roumie.
Despite Pastor Chuck Smith Jr. being in his forties at the time the film is set, Kelsey Grammer was sixty-seven during the film's production. Pastor Greg Laurie was a teenager during much of the film's events, but Joel Courtney, who portrays him, was twenty-six. Lonnie Frisbee was nineteen at the beginning of the film; Jonathan Roumie, who portrays him, was forty-seven. In fact, Frisbee was only three years older than Laurie yet Roumie is almost twenty-two years older than Courtney.
When Lonnie Frisbee talks to the men in the pier and the actor that plays Matthew in "The Chosen" gets the question "have you met Jesus yet" he replies as if he mistakes Lonnie for Jesus which I guess is a cue to that he has "seen him as Jesus" in that series.
