At approximately 00:15:05, Albert the pig is briefly near a crayon drawing of the words "SOME PIG". It's a reference to the book "Charlotte's Web," in which the words "SOME PIG" are used to distinguish the uniqueness of Wilbur, the main character.

At about 25 minutes into the movie, Melanie and Nick leave the "Science Library". The sign over the door designates it the "John P. Fedynich Memorial Library". John Fedynich was the movie's location manager.
