The slasher-comedy Totally Killer is on the way from Blumhouse and Amazon Studios, and today we’ve been provided with a first look at the film’s new slasher villain.
Their name is “The Sweet Sixteen Killer,” described in a press release as “the frightening, fresh new face joining iconic villains from Blumhouse’s horror canon.”
That lineup to date includes…
The Grabber / The Black Phone The Butcher / Freaky Babyface / Happy Death Day Lady Liberty / The Purge: Election Year Pooka / Into the Dark: Pooka! Sweet Sixteen Killer / Totally Killer
Meet “The Sweet Sixteen Killer” in the new teaser video below.
Totally Killer hits Prime Video on October 6, 2023. The film has been rated “R” for “Bloody violence, language, sexual material, and teen drug/alcohol use.”
Totally Killer sounds quite a bit like the brilliant slasher-comedy The Final Girls, similarly transporting characters back in time and putting them inside of a classic 80s slasher setup.

Harlan Coben’s Shelter is a new mystery drama series that takes the viewers through a deep, dark forest in the hope that the story’s matrix of truth and lies will keep you entertained while you keep second-guessing the next turn of events. Shelter Episode 4 proves that the mystery of Brad’s death and the intentions of the ‘Bat Lady’ regarding Brad’s son Mickey will not be deciphered so easily. Although the episode did give us some answers, especially regarding Ashley and Rachel’s connection, there are many questions that were left unanswered. The episode was a mixed bag this time. It meandered from one story to the next without much fervor.
The whole subplot exploring Shira’s past seemed out of place and disturbed the pacing, but as soon as the episode focused on Ashley and the Bat Lady, the intrigue was back. Shelter Episode 4 did a...

Winner of the top Jury Prize (Best Feature) at the Fantasia Film Festival, this brutal and dark serial killer film utilizes the backdrop of an unsolved true crime.
With Megalomaniac, prolific filmmaker Karim Ouelhaj, Méliès d’Or winner for The Frozen Eye (2016), brings us his fourth feature and by far his most savage.
In the film, “Martha and Félix are the children of the Butcher of Mons, a notorious Belgian serial killer from the 1990s. Unstable and riddled with insecurities, Martha lives vicariously through social media. Her brother, crushed by the family legacy, takes over their father’s killings.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which emanates from Grand Rapids, Michigan – which means this was taped at the same time as this past weekend’s Battle of the Belts special. We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary as usual so let’s get to the action!
Match #1: Private Party, The Butcher & The Blade def. Isaiah Broner, James Alexander, Brayden Lee, & Sam Moore
My Thoughts: So we open Dark with an 8-man quasi-squash match. Hey, at least Private Party, The Butcher & The Blade are getting “TV” time right? Right..? It seems both teams are floundering somewhat after the end of the Hfo/Ahfo so to see them in action is good, even more so when the in-ring action is good too!
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Anna Jay A.S. def. Megan Meyers

Yes I wholeheartedly apologise for the click bait style title, but this article has nothing to do with the bedroom antics of comic fans, rather whether they prefer their reading in floppy or hard format (sorry!)
Recently I had a WhatsApp message from a friend showing a picture of the collected edition of Doctor Strange Surgeon Supreme he’d picked up in WHSmith at the airport and that he was looking forward to reading it on the sun lounger on holiday.
Over 20 years ago when I first met my friend he had just discovered Thor in the pages of some Marvel UK reprints and after being shown some of the American issues he embarked on a collecting spree, regularly picking up as many Thor and Journey Into Mystery issues as we could keep in stock and occasional other titles we could recommend to him. The Boys are back and more violent and off-the-wall than ever. With the first few episodes of the second season now available courtesy of Amazon Prime, Karl Urban's Billy Butcher has now gone solo for this short film, titled Butcher, which has now been released via social media ahead of the season's fourth episode.
The Butcher short film begins with some familiar scenes from the main series before shifting focus to Butcher on the run, where he reaches out to his old war buddy, Jock, for help. The short goes a long way to filling some of the gaps left between the first and second seasons of [The Boys}, which finds Butcher off his game thanks to the nefarious schemes of the tyrannical "superhero" Homelander. Show creator Eric Kripke teased the release of Butcher a few months ago, calling the release a "pretty substantial thing."

Shooter went out with many bangs — including a quite devastating one — as the USA Network drama wrapped its three-season run on Thursday night.
Picking right up where the Supreme Court building explosion left off, Isaac accompanied Nadine as she was whisked away in an ambulance, in “stable but bad” shape. Bob Lee, with Harris’ help, meanwhile sneaked inside the building to hunt down the Atlas operative behind the bus bomb, Jack Long. After finding Justice Carla Tortelli’s Gibson’s driver tied...

1.4 The Butcher's Knife Cares Not For The Lamb's Cry
What a title this episode has. If Discovery has done nothing else, it’s brought back the spirit of the original series’ episode titles, which were essentially “how grandiose and Shakespearean can we be in fewer than 10 words”. Turns out: very.
Of course, it’s not completely without meaning. There are lots of butcher’s knives in this episode, and lots of lambs crying. Metaphorically, of course. The most Star Trek thing about this episode was Burnham’s insistence that science and compassion prevail over, like, randomly shooting stuff in the face.

You've gotta watch this trailer for the upcoming action thriller Savage Dog, which features Scott Adkins (Doctor Strange, The Expendables II) kicking ass as he embarks on a mission for revenge.
The movie looks like it came straight out of the early 1990s, which is why I'm kind of looking forward to watching it. I've seen a few trailers for upcoming action films recently that reminded me of movies from the 90s. Are 90s-style action movies making a comeback!? Yeah, it looks like a very low-budget flick, but sometimes it's just fun to sit back, relax, and watch a fun movie like this. Here's the synopsis:
Indochina, 1959. A Wild West town controlled by the criminal class: Vietnamese warlords and European war criminals. The worst prison in the land, it is here that a European, former-champion boxer Martin Tilman (Scott Adkins) has made a name for himself fighting tournaments. When Tilman is due for release,...

Review: 'Fargo' Season 2 Episode 5 'The Gift of the Magi' Watches the American Dream Go Up in Flames
"This is a true story."And the first casualty of the great war of '79 between the North and South was... a zoning commissioner? Joe Bulo's (Brad Garrett) bow-and-arrow-wielding contact took a shot to the head with a good ol' fashioned rifle before the rest of the hunting party met their maker — including Joe himself, who was later delivered in a gift box to Mike Milligan (Bokeem Woodbine). Things went quiet for a bit after that as both families plotted their next move, but the bloodshed wasn't over. Ed "The Butcher" Blomquist (Jesse Plemons) was Charlie Gerhardt's (Allan Dobrescu) first target; a fine choice for a gunshy kid unsure of what he himself is capable of, but one that went awry when the surprisingly spry big man killed one more of the Gerhardt clan before "saving" Charlie (who's also wounded). Now the cops are coming for the indecisive Peggy (Kirsten Dunst) and her more-than-capable husband,...

Is that the last we'll see of Community or will the hashtag become a reality when six seasons are joined by a movie?
Warning: contains spoilers for Community season 6.
For the first time since 2009, Community just got through a season without the threat of cancellation looming over it at any given moment. NBC finally pulled the plug on Dan Harmon's weird and wonderful series in 2014 after five seasons, but like Arrested Development before it and The Mindy Project since, it got another season by moving online, to the Yahoo! Screen streaming service.
Given how Harmon was fired in 2012, following a harried production schedule on season three and a very public dispute with Chevy Chase over filming, it seems kind of impossible that the show ever got to the six seasons for which the fans campaigned ceaselessly. #SixSeasonsAndAMovie became the rallying cry for Greendale's Human Beings and the lifespan of...

Community is back in a new home for its much-discussed sixth season, but is it still the same show?

Quick, to the internet! After NBC finally dropped the axe on Community, its “six seasons and a movie” mantra appeared to be in jeopardy. At the eleventh hour, the series found a second life on the Yahoo! Screen streaming service and we've got 13 new episodes before Dan Harmon and company have to start thinking about a movie.

It can't have been easy for Warner Bros. and their subsidiary DC Entertainment to sit and watch Marvel release The Avengers to huge box office success last year while Christopher Nolan was simultaneously closing the doors on his massively successful Batman trilogy with The Dark Knight Rises. While The Avengers is clearly open to have more sequels, Nolan never tried to expand his movies' scope to DC's other characters. In response to the success of The Avengers, Warners did hire Gangster Squad screenwriter Will Beall to script a Justice League movie, which would potentially team Batman with other legendary DC characters such as Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman, however, the movie is already rumored to be slated for a complete overhaul, with the safe money betting that the studio will wait and see if Superman's next outing, Man of Steel, will provide the box office boost necessary to move...

Director: Chad Ferrin.
Writers: Chad Ferrin and Roham Ghodsi.
Chad Ferrin and Crappy World Films produced Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill! for release this year and their latest film is Someone's Knocking at the Door. This feature will release on DVD and Blu-Ray May 25th via Vicious Circle Films and the film stars a number of recognizable independent actors. A giant step up from Easter Bunny, Ferrin gets the right amount of excitement in the film, while creating a unique, horrifying movie watching experience through the use of sexual deviancy and shocking imagery.
The plot is a lot more complex than Easter Bunny; from a reductionist viewpoint the film involves perception and secondarily illicit drug use, hallucinations, and near death experiences. A group of young medical students set out to investigate a pair of deceased serial killers in the hospital's basement only to succumb to an ancient vial of experimental drugs.

The Wizard Of Oz 70th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’S Edition (Warner Bros.) A true highlight in digital restoration technology, Warner Bros. restoration of the 1939 classic is cause for celebration. The Technicolor of the late ‘30s looks as though it was shot yesterday, and is especially stunning on Blu-ray, which was produced by scanning each of the film’s original Technicolor camera negatives using 8K resolution. From this scan, a final “capture” master was created in 4K, yielding twice the resolution seen in the master utilized for the film’s previous DVD release. Judy Garland’s Dorothy is charming as ever, and the entire cast: Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, Jack Haley and Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch, are all stellar. Four disc set bonuses include: Sing-along track; Documentaries and featurettes; Two 1914 silent films produced by Oz author L. Frank Baum, based on his stories...
