Will Moseley, the American Idol season 22 runner-up, has a fishing trip planned with judge Luke Bryan. Luke Bryan bonds with country singers on American Idol and might work with Will in the future. Will Moseley is already making moves in his music career, opening for the Zac Brown Band and hitting the Billboard charts.
American Idol's Will Moseley has already lined up a fishing trip with none other than judge Luke Bryan. Will competed in American Idol season 22, during which he stayed true to his country music roots, no matter what theme night was thrown his way. After knocking the ball out of the park by casting David Corenswet as Superman in his upcoming film, James Gunn is once again making waves on the Internet with his latest casting choice. As per the latest update, veteran actor Pruitt Taylor Vince has been selected to bring the character of Pa Kent a.k.a. Jonathan Kent to life.

This role was previously played by Kevin Costner in Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel. While we cannot compare the two just yet, it seems like the fans are quite divided on this casting choice. On one hand, fans seem to believe he’s the perfect actor for the role, but on the other, fans just cannot picture him playing Pa Kent.

Betrayals were a recurring theme in The Walking Dead, with characters like Simon, Carol, and Shane turning on their friends for self-preservation. From Simon's failed coup against Negan to Carol's banishment by Rick, these betrayals had lasting impacts on the story and characters. Even allies like Daryl and Maggie betrayed Rick when they planned to kill Negan behind his back, showcasing the complex and ever-changing dynamics of trust in the post-apocalyptic world.
Treachery was a recurring theme across The Walking Dead's 11-season story, with multiple characters committing shocking acts of betrayal. Despite its post-apocalyptic setting, zombies were only part of the problem for Rick, Michonne, Daryl, and all the others in The Walking Dead. Since the beginning of the series, conflict with their fellow survivors was integral to the story.
Many of the core group's toughest battles were with outside forces, but that only accounts for some of their troubles.

Ola's absence in Sex Education season 4 presents a major story concern as she was closely connected to the main cast, particularly Otis and Jean Milburn. While Lily's absence is easier to explain, her storyline had run its course by the end of season 3 and it is unclear what her arc would be without Ola. Both Ola and Lily's departure from the series made space for new, exciting characters representing various sexual identities and orientations, but their absence was still missed and left unanswered questions.
While Lily was a beloved character on the show as well, the Sex Education season 4 Ola absence had a bigger impact. Sex Education was known for its extensive cast of colorful characters with Ola and Lily emerging as two of the best on the show, thanks in no small part to their charming romance. Kasra Farahani, director of Loki season 2 episode 3, commented on Jonathan Majors' arrest, saying it was a surprise. Filming for Loki season 2 was already complete before Majors' arrest, so his integral role in the series remains unaffected. Majors' arrest impacted his other upcoming roles but his future as the Multiverse Saga's villain in the MCU is uncertain after Loki season 2.

Strays is not just a common kids' flick, as it combines kid-oriented humor with adult comedy and tackles inter-social themes like animal abuse. Talking animals are always funny, and Strays follows familiar plot tropes of lost pet films but adds racy, sex-content-heavy laughs for adult audiences. Strays subverts the stereotype of dog movies by including drug humor, crude sexual content, and adult themes, making it a refreshing and satirical take on the genre.
It's been a long time coming for the iconoclast Generation-x-ers responsible for Strays (2023). See, back in the late 80s through the mid-90s, the forty-somethings were inundated with talking animal movies. The banal, insipid flock from Milo & Otis (1986) to Homeward Bound (1993) to the pathetically kitsch Air Bud (1997-2006) franchise caused even the most naive 9-year-old to roll their eyes.

What goes up, must come down – it just usually doesn’t happen this quickly. Jonathan Majors has become one of the most recognizable names and faces of Hollywood over the last several years, appearing in projects such as Devotion, The Harder They Fall, Creed III, and of course his villainous role of Kang the Conqueror in the MCU. Add the fact that Majors was an Emmy nominee for his role in the HBO series Lovecraft County in 2020, and it isn’t hard to see how the young actor has taken over the industry in such a short amount of time. Unfortunately, as quickly as Majors has risen to fame, it seems his fall may be just as fast.
Last month, the world was shocked to learn that Majors was involved in an incident in New York City that included a domestic violence claim and ended with his arrest. Majors was...

It’s well after midnight somewhere off the coast of Florida, and Mojo Nixon is leading a cruise ship full of lubricated and rowdy country-music fans in a bawdy singalong of a song titled “Tie My Pecker to My Leg.”
We won’t get into the lyrics here, but the verses touch on everything from barnyard sex to fornicating at a county fair. “This guy just heard the song for the first time,” Nixon, 65, and dressed in his customary Hawaiian shirt and uneven denim cutoffs, says, pointing to a man in the front row.

“Holy Grail,” the opening salvo of Jay-Z’s 2013 album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, was always an ostentatious affair. Justin Timberlake sings what seems to be a sexual innuendo where a reproductive body part is compared to a “holy grail.” Jay-Z delivers part of Nirvana’s “Smell Like Teen Spirit” in a very off-key and monotone voice. Many stars change their names for fame, and Becky G is just another member of this celebrity squad. It's hard to imagine the brunette beauty going by anything other than her catchy stage name but the 22-year-old was born in Inglewood, CA, with the full name (drum roll please) Rebbeca Marie Gomez! And her real name isn't the only thing that will surprise you about this Latin American superstar.
Rebbeca Marie Gomez transformed into Becky G when she was just 9 years old, after her family was forced to move into her grandparents' garage due to financial difficulties. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Becky G refers to this moment as her mid-life crisis. "That's when I felt like 'Ok, I gotta get my life together. What am I gonna do?' I pushed that on myself at a younger age than the average kid because at the time my family had lost our home.

It's been a long road leading up to 3 from Hell. We got wind that Rob Zombie was directing this sequel to House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects last year. He then took a filmmaking hiatus to go on tour with White Zombie, before heading into the editing bay to finish off post-production. The movie is finally ready to go and will be in theaters this September. Today, Lionsgate has unleashed a murderous new poster and several blood-soaked images featuring the cast.
Rob Zombie both wrote and directed 3 From Hell reviving characters he created, only to kill them all off at the end of the Devil's Rejects, which hit theaters way back in 2005. It's been over a decade since we last saw the Firefly family getting up to some bad business. This new batch of images gives us a great sneak peak at the carnage we can expect.

Rob Zombie has released a new photo of Bill Moseley in character as Otis from his anticipated movie 3 from Hell. Posting it to his official Instagram account, Zombie reveals he's putting the finishing touches on the long-awaited project, making sure everything is just right before calling it a wrap. "I know it seems like we've been working on this forever, but it must be perfect," the filmmaker states in the photo's caption. While the movie is expected to release this year, Zombie has held off on giving fans an exact premiere date. This likely has to do with the director's insistence on making the movie perfect before releasing it, and hopefully it will all be worth the wait.
3 from Hell serves as a sequel to two of Zombie's previous movies, House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. In the former, the members of the Firefly family are first introduced.

Part of what made Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects such a hit amongst fans was that it boasted a wide array of colorful and entertaining characters. Many of whom, in fact, could’ve probably spawned spinoffs of their own. Chief among those is The Unholy Two, comprised of bounty hunters Rondo (Danny Trejo) and Billy Ray Snapper (Diamond Dallas Page). And while we know that the former will be back for the sequel, 3 From Hell, what about the latter?
Well, according to Page, there’s just no room in the film for him. Apparently, he spoke with Zombie about it and over on Twitter, the wrestler-turned actor explained to fans that they couldn’t find a way to fit Snapper into the story.

British culture was once open to 'messy kids' from secondary moderns. But if you want to make it in 21st century Britain, you'd best have a cut-glass accent and public school pedigree
Last week the actor Stephen McGann spoke out about how difficult it is for young people from working-class backgrounds to enter his profession. "Opportunities are closing down," he said in an interview with the Independent. "If you're a messy kid from a council estate today, I think the chances of you making it as a successful actor are a lot worse than they were."
McGann, 50, youngest of the family of acting brothers, grew up on the edge of Toxteth in Liverpool and was educated at a Catholic grammar school. "What counted for me and my brothers – and for mates of ours like David Morrissey and Ian Hart, all growing up in Dingle and Toxteth – was the real change in education,...

Although mainstream horror cinema has been slow to churn out titles, and as of late seems to have opted to focus primarily on remaking the classics of yesteryear, there are a vast quantity of low budget and independent horror films coming out every week. Due to limited means and the microscopic marketing budgets associated with independent filmmaking, it’s easy for quality films to slip through the cracks. In response, we created this recurring segment to explore some interesting horror movies that might have flown under your radar. [If you missed out on our previous lists of forgotten gems, follow the links to Parts One, Two, and Three of our series.] Now we present yet another five horror films from the past five years that you may have overlooked... but should definitely see. Dream Home (2010) It’s difficult to describe this multifaceted film, as it functions on so many different levels. On the surface, it’s a slasher, but it’s also a very dark comedy, and it's packed with social commentary. Hong...

I hear a lot of casual horror fans talking about the lack of quality horror films in recent years... and to some extent they have a point. Studio-funded horror films seem to be less prevalent than they were three decades ago, and many mass-marketed horror films are lighter on gore, nudity, and the like than the features of yesteryear (with the obvious exception of the Evil Dead reboot). But there are still plenty of quality horror films being made – it’s just incumbent upon horror fans to look a little harder. There are a plethora of well-made horror pictures being released every year; they just aren’t all getting the mainstream attention that they deserve. In an attempt to remedy that, and shine the spotlight on some outstanding films that haven’t received a great deal of publicity, we are showcasing five titles from the past five years that may have passed you by,...

With Breaking Dawn . Part 2 bringing a close to the cross-demographic behemoth franchise that has long dominated the box office, the cast of Twilight is now seeking to shape their careers in the shadows of the characters that made them famous. For raven-haired ingénue Ashley Greene, this means soldiering down a path of horror she began in 2008 with a small role in the slasher comedy Otis. Since then, she's played the lead in the serial killer thriller Summer's Blood and the college-set ghost tale The Apparition, and so her next possible project seems a natural fit. The Wrap reports Greene is being considered for a role in The Weinstein Company's soon-to-shoot horror feature that was previously titled Kristy, but now boasts the more enticing and twisted title Satantic. Recently, rising starlet Haley Bennett had signed on to the film, and at the time producers described the flick as a psychological ...

Last week’s procedure-heavy episode “Cut Ties,” the witness protection program was featured, as were Art’s (Nick Searcy) Marshal skills, and the futile advances of Assistant Director Karen Goodall’s (Carla Gugino) towards Raylan (Timothy Olyphant). This week’s “Harlan Roulette” put the focus back on Harlan and the chess pieces continued to move around the board without any being taken off, but that doesn’t mean nothing happened. Boyd (Walton Goggins) got out of jail, and it looks like Dickie Bennett (Jeremy Davies) could follow. We learn more about the mysterious Ellstin Limehouse (Mykelti Williamson) and the enigmatic Robert Quarles (Neal McDonough). Raylan messes up, Boyd’s words are beginning to fall on deaf ears, and OxyContin is a drug that makes the world–well, at least Harlan–go ‘Duh.’ It was another superb week in what’s been a flawless third season of Justified.

In this installment of our week-long coverage of Universal Studio Home Entertainment's latest Scorpion King sequel, The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption, we chat with actors Bostin Christopher (whom many of you may remember as the titular character from the criminally overlooked 2008 horror comedy Otis) and Krystal Vee.
The Scorpion King 3 sees our hero, Mathayus (Victor Webster), as an assassin-for-hire who struggles to defend a kingdom against his rival, the treacherous Talus (Billy Zane), who has summoned three 'ghost warriors' (Kimbo Slice, Dave Bautista, Selina Lo) to do his evil bidding. Mathayus, facing insurmountable challenges against an all-powerful nemesis and his other-worldly defenders, must rely on the help of a few friends, including fellow warriors Olaf (Christopher) and Silda (Vee), in order to regain his empire and successfully win the Battle for Redemption against Talus and his other-worldly minions.

Tim Tebow is trying to bring a winning environment back to Denver, but even if the Broncos can't get their shit together again this year and there is no Super Bowl on the horizon, the Mile High City does have another pretty interesting event scheduled that might make all the fans of pigskin violence forget their gridiron woes for a while.
For the second consecutive year the Starz Film Center in Denver will be the home for The Mile High Horror Film Festival. (Note: This is not a series of videos depicting sexual exploits in airplane bathrooms gone awry but an actual festival of great horror films!) This year the event takes place from October 7-9.
And although the organizers have not yet announced the slate of films to be screened, some of the special guests have been named. Dan Myrick, the writer/director of the groundbreaking first-person horror film...

The first trailer for The Big Bang has hit the web. Directed by Tony Krantz (Otis), the film stars Antonio Banderas as a private detective who is hired to find a missing stripper. That’s about all the plot I’m able to boil down because, judging from the tilt-heavy trailer, this flick looks to be a bit of a mind-bender in the vein of Richard Kelly’s Southland Tales. Hit the jump to check out the trailer. The Big Bang stars Banderas, William Fichtner, James Van Der Beek, Snoop Dogg, Delroy Lindo and Rebecca Mader. Welcome back to the last installment of Dread Central’s look back at the 25 milestones that shaped the landscape of independent horror filmmaking over the last 100 years. I apologize for the delay on the last five milestones as I had no idea just how busy I’d be while in Austin covering the South by Southwest Film Festival (which also champions the independent spirit of filmmaking most of the time) so I am glad to be back now and have the opportunity to pay homage to these last five moments in indie horror history.
We’ve already celebrated 20 milestones through 1987, and today we start in 1999 with one of the most innovative independent modern horror films that not only acted as a game changer in the horror genre but also was one of the first movies to effectively use the Internet as a marketing tool.

Here's a great video compliation of 150 famous movie lines and catch-phrases that we've come to know and love over the years. The great thing about movie quotes for film geeks like myself, is that whenever the moment presents itself we can always bust out a movie quote to throw into a conversation for a good laugh.
I will say most of these quotes are obvious, but it's still fun. The video below was created by David Balboa. Enjoy!
Here’s a list of each quote from the video, and who said it, from Balboa's blog Exophrine.

Movie quotes are the currency by which we pay respect to our favorite films. We grab them out of our pockets at the most appropriate, or inappropriate, times, adding our love of a movie to an advancing conversation. Sometimes these quotes are insignificant lines you and your friends hold near to your hearts but, most of the time, these lines are the ones we all know and love. David Balboa, who runs a blog called Exophrine, edited together 150 of lines and catch phrases just like that into one, cool little video. Included are such diverse films as The Princess Bride, Rocky IV, Aliens, Toy Story, Die Hard, Citizen Kane and many more. Check it out, as well as the full rundown of what's in it, after the jump. To all those agents who secretly dream of directing... I can't think of a Hollywood journey like Tony Krantz's. The son of Beverly Hills novelist Judith Krantz, he went from head of primetime packaging at CAA (where he helped put together ER, The West Wing, Twin Peaks, Beverly Hills 90210) and then CEO of Imagine Television (where he exec produced Felicity and 24 among other shows with Jj Abrams, Peter Berg, Aaron Sorkin, and David Lynch) to directing 3 1/2 years ago. Since then, he's helmed 3 films. The first two, Sublime (a surreal horror flicks) and Otis (a horror comedy), were put out by Warner Bros Home Video under the Raw Feed genre label. Now he's wrapped directing his first theatrical which has just landed distribution with Anchor Bay after a competitive bidding situation. Legendary comedian Kevin Pollak isn’t generally thought of as a terrifying person. However, the guy who is known in Hollywood for bringing the funny is now bringing the fear (along with some humor) with his new Babelgum comedy web series “Vamped Out.”
“Vamped Out” was conceived by Pollak and Jason Antoon (Minority Report) from a simple joke over lunch.
“I went to have lunch with Jason and my girlfriend and I passed a billboard for Vampire Diaries,” explained Pollak. “We were complaining to him when we got there about there being yet another vampire show, and Jason joked about what if you really were a vampire but couldn’t get cast as a vampire for any of these projects.”
“Jason said to me, ‘That’s a great bit for your set, Kevin,’ and I said, ‘No that’s a great bit for a web series,” Pollak added.

Ashley Greene's cinematic path hasn't been gradual. It all started with a couple one-ep stints on a few shows, a gig on a quickly vaporized show called Desire, time as a McDonald's customer in King of California, an uncredited moment on Shark, and playing Kim #4 in Otis. Then everything changed. She put on the superstylish clothes, added a pixie hop to her step, and starting divining the future on the Twilight series. Now she's got a handful of movies under her belt, and is circling her next starring gig.
Risky Biz Blog reports that Greene is looking into the ghostly side of supernatural life. The actress is in talks to star in The Apparition, Dark Castle's latest supernatural horror that will, most likely, wrench her out of sparkles and overprotective families.
