    Ugh OK

people first I would like to say how mean you are sounding right now. You have to realize that a independent film, is just that. This is not a million dollar budget here with exceptional actors, extraordinary lighting and a whole production crew. The budget is $3500 then what do you expect? A grand finale? Yeah I said it. Because it kills me to see someone destroy the work of others that's trying to make it. If you can do a better job, then do it. No it's not personal, people just get under my skin with their negativity. Here is a idea find the negative and then change it into positive for the director and actors so they can do a better job next time. Ugh

    A serious issue mishandled

Unborn Sins is a mess of film about a serious topic, the horrific abortion rate amongst the African-American community. They try to treat the subject seriously at first showing the procedure and harassment the women go through and her distress before and after. It also shows the probable callousness of these doctors/butchers who act kind and caring to the patient. As soon as she's gone from the room it's dump the remains in the trash and clean up the room for the next one. I guess they want to scrap and tear them out of the wombs as fast as possible. Be sure to watch the Charlton Heston narrated short film Eclipse of Reason to see the "joys" of a late term abortion. The "man" in her life is even more callous in a hurry to get her scraped so he can go back to playing video games and getting high.

Whatever good intentions this Tomb of Terrors turd may have had is washed away in relentless scenes of people running or doing mundane things while awful rap "music" blares over them. The dialogue is either too quiet or too loud. The supernatural abortion avenger named Bowlegg appears to be played by a short Hispanic wearing whiteface. He's really good at tumbling around and martial arts, his goofy attack scenes are probably the film's lone highlight. The kills are mostly bloodless. At one point there's a character who claims to be the "hand of god" giving a monologue about how precious life is. The filmmakers foolishly let a chicken walk around in the background which is more interesting to watch than almost anything in this film. After almost two hours of being bombarded by awful rap "music" they decide to end the movie with some diversity by playing an equally awful "rock" song. While this isn't the absolute worst thing I've seen on the Tomb of Terrors set it's pretty close, it has lots of failed ambition and an absurd amount of padding. Cut this thing down to 70 minutes, focus more on the goofy killer and add some decent gore and it could have been a *1/2 film.

    Painful to watch

This is a movie that can be found on the Tomb of Terrors 50 Movies. I don't know if you can say it is one of the worst ones on this collection but it really can't be far off. As with most of the films this is a very low budget horror film. This one being about a women after she gets an abortion.

I hate to say it but I could not find one thing good about this movie. First the acting is pretty bad for the most part, when it comes to the fight scenes it is downright horrible. Then there is the painfully slow plot that at first seams to be a bad joke made by the right to life people. As it turns out it might be a bad joke from the right to chose people. There are also long music scenes where nothing happens. I had to mute some of these scenes because the music was so bad. This was definitely a hour and forty-one minutes of my life that I want back. Please don't let my mistake of watching this garbage become yours.

    Dismal in Every Way

A no-budget, straight-to-video piece of garbage without a single redeeming quality. The acting is outrageously bad throughout, the sound is inaudible much of the time, and the whole thing looks like a series of single takes recorded on a $200 hand-held video camera someone picked up on sale at WalMart. The villain is a short guy in a black jumpsuit wearing white pancake make-up with black greasepaint around his eyes and mouth.

When in one of the earliest scenes a woman is going to have an abortion performed in a building and you can see the words "Family Dental Clinic" on the signs on the lawn and next to the door, you KNOW you're in for something so bad that "subpar" would be a gross understatement of the massive dose of badness and banality yet to come, and on that front "The Unborn" never disappoints. The director didn't think enough of a potential audience to assume they could read; he certainly isn't about to present anything challenging, or even interesting, afterward.

This isn't just bad, this is "Oh my god, you have got to be freaking kidding me!" horrible. Anybody who rates this trash more than one star must have been involved with it, and in any case neither their taste in horror films nor their sanity should be trusted.
