Saw it only for Ayesha Jhulka

Ghoonghat review :

Being an ardent Ayesha Jhulka fan, Ive seen all her films - even the not so good ones - but Ghoonghat directed by choreographer turned director Chinni Prakash was the worst of all. It was his first and last directorial, thankfully.

Absolutely devoid of any logic or sensibility, Ayesha played a damstrel in distress running away from four moochad goons and finally, seeking shelter in a township called Ekta Nagar which has hero Inder Kumar and his wastrel roommates for company.

Inder Kumar is a struggling musician whose tunes are stolen by a famous film music director and so he goes and thrashes him. Speaking of the music, some of Anand Raj Anand's compositions were truly melodious.

With an apology of a plot and a dull narrative, Ghoonghat had no chance at the box office. It was declared a box office disaster sealing the fate of Inder Kumar as well as Ayesha who had pined hopes on it. Sad as both of them were earnest in it!!

Regards, Sumeet Nadkarni.

Nostalgia - super fun movie

I remember this one of my personal favourite from the 90s, brings back so many memories watching this from my childhood. This movie is super fun with great laughs and great effort shown by all the actors, the main leads Inder Kumar, Ayesha jhulka did a great job along with all supporting actors. This was a low budget movie but the story, dedication of actors made this a good family entertainer.
