I love Victoria Beckham and Suzanne Hughes!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Victoria Beckham. I recently traveled to Europe and this show is still airing overseas! The best part of the show BY FAR was the Socialite luncheon at Suzanne Hughes Mansion. Even though they took some heat, I know that NONE of us would turn down an invitation to have lunch with those ladies. That Dolphin call lady is MAJOR! I love reading about Suzanne and Victoria in the tabloids and want to be their new best friend! I must say the only negative thing about the show was Victoria's assistant, she was not funny.

OH- before I forget, I have some good gossip about the show. My hairdresser knows one of the Socialites who was supposed to be in the show. She said that all of the Beverly Hills ladies wanted to do the show and that there is a HUGE rivalry between the Socialites now because of the jealousy that the show created. Everyone was upset that Suzanne and her friends got to Victoria first because they were all gunning for her friendship.

    Surprisingly Funny!

Looking at the images of Victoria Beckham in the magazines, it's easy to think she is - as she puts it - a miserable cow. But for someone who is constantly being photographed with a sour, snooty look on her face, she actually has quite a sense of humour and a dry wit.

This show follows Victoria as she prepares for the move to America. She goes house shopping, learns to drive, meets a cruel website journalist and practises what to do in an earthquake. Through it all we get to see another side of Victoria, the wisecracking, media savvy woman who seems to genuinely care about and miss her family who are still in Spain.

The most unexpected thing we see in this show is Victoria's ability to poke fun at herself and not be too serious - a complete departure from the image of her we see in the media.

A very funny and entertaining show, and keep an ear out for some of the great one-liners from Victoria...

(Talking about Britney and Paris): "There's a few girls around here that go out without knickers on....you know....why do they do that???"

"It looks like someone with extremely bad taste threw up in here."

(Being pulled over for a driving offense): "I was completely shocked and devastated because I was wearing flat shoes... I didn't know whether to pose or get arrested"

"Let me get myself miserable before we go out."

    "It's exhausting being fabulous..."

She's no dummy ! - but you have to get the humor to realize that.

Humor in UK can be quite different to that in the US. I was worried many people wouldn't understand she was acting up most of the time, and it seems there were indeed a lot who didn't. If you're not a regular fan of British humor, be sure to take this with a pinch of salt.

Laughing at oneself is not something we do very well here in the States. I'm not sure is VB knew this, or maybe she did but just didn't care,... in which case good for her. Seems like this was a one-off show, so it's not as though VB has to learn anything from the experience, so I believe she was just having fun and making a show which a lot of people WOULD find funny and realize that she's no dummy.

...& good for her also for not rudely bursting out laughing at the "socialite party" when the one woman (good sport) did her dolphin impression !

"Major" mistake by Britains biggest media whore

I'm grateful for one thing and one thing only - that this woman will now be thousands of miles away on an entirely different continent!!! Yay!!! This programme summed up perfectly just how obsessed Victoria Beckham has become with whoring herself and her family out to the media in the name of self promotion and 'Brand f*cking Beckham'.

A few years ago I used to really like 'Posh and Becks', I still very much admire David's talent, but I have no respect for him anymore. How can you respect someone who has his wife's hand shoved up his backside working him like a puppet.

It was clear the hand of Victoria was all over Beckham's premature departure from Manchester United and now the same thing has happened at Real Madrid. I hope Beckham can live with the fact that although he may be earning squillions of pounds - he's sold his soul for the American Buck and will end his days playing for a team who would struggle to gain promotion from Division One in England (no offence America - but at Baseball and Basketball you rule - football you don't!)

Anyway - I digress. It's been years since I've seen such an over-the-top, entirely false performance from 'Posh' - this being topped only during her cringe worthy red carpet performances following the Rebecca Loos 'debacle', when instead of throwing all the cr*p at David he deserved, she desperately clung onto his arm trying to save the million pound money-spinner her marriage has become.

This whole PR stunt was pathetic. Why can't she just go over there quietly, support her husband through the biggest mistake of his professional career and keep her head down? When did she become so full of self importance that she feels the move to America should be shrouded by this huge fan fare?

Incidentally, I saw the David Beckham documentary last night. At least he has retained a sliver of grace and humility. Two things his wife could do with learning.

One more thing Victoria - you complain about constantly being hounded by the paps. Little hint - stop tipping them off about your whereabouts you stupid woman.

    Good Luck America!!
