Fox says it wants a 'Revolution'
Fox has greenlighted Skyler's Revolution, a comedy/reality pilot presentation starring comedian Skyler Stone.
In pilot-casting news, Lucy Liu has been tapped to star in ABC's one-hour pilot Cashmere Mafia, while James Brolin has signed on to star in ABC's untitled Rina Mimoun drama pilot.
Additionally, Aimee Garcia and Paul Campbell have been added to Fox's comedy pilot Action News, Jessalyn Gilsig has joined Fox's drama pilot The Apostles, Kathleen Rose Perkins has been added to ABC's untitled Victoria Pile comedy pilot, Kym Whitley has joined ABC's untitled Sachs/Judah comedy pilot, and Eddie Matos has come aboard CBS' untitled Cynthia Cidre drama pilot.
Revolution, from Warner Horizon TV and McG's Wonderland Sound and Vision, is described as a comedy/prank hybrid in the vein of MTV's Punk'd. Stone created the show and is executive producing with McG and Trip Taylor. Peter Johnson is co-executive producing.
Stone, who starred in Con, his own series on Comedy Central, is repped by Paradigm and Mosaic Media Group. Wonderland is repped by Endeavor.
