Ruby Gloom

I am starting to love animation from Nelvana Ltd., along with Fleischer Studios, Disney Studios, Rankin/Bass, Studio Ghibli from Japan, and Hanna/Barbera. As a Canadian, Nelvana has great TV animated series like this series, Redwall, Class of the Titans, and Little Bear, which are favorites. Also, with the film "Rock & Rule," Nelvana has proven to be an excellent studio.

This show's well done. The Gothic décor is reminiscent of Tim Burton's approach. My favorite characters from the show are Ruby Gloom herself, Misery, and Doom Kitty. I think she's adorable, and I adore the way the violinist matched her gestures and facial expressions. Last but not least, the reason I enjoy Scaredy Bat is that I enjoy bats when others wouldn't.
