I watched it in danish, by the way. Also doing that every year. Nothing brings together family than Disney. Is this just a nostalgia bait commercial? For sure, but at the same time it's a trip down memory lane that really hits you. Is it barely about Christmas? For sure, but it is something I will watch every single Christmas for the rest of m life.
Jiminy Cricket host a verity show with Disney classic clips.
One thing I did not like this year (and also some of the other years these past years) are the updated shorts. They look too crisp and modernized. This is an old show and I want it to capture that old feel, updated animation just doesn't match this show.
I also want to talk about the trailers shown. Inside out 2 which I'm going to watch and a song from Wish which didn't really speak to me.
All the shorts and songs here brings so much nostalgia, Aristocrats, Lady and the Tramp, Snow white, the shorts like the snowball match and the chip and dale Christmas tree. So many iconic and fun pats of the Disney canon.
Not much more to say here. It's a nostalgic and fun clip show that I just love. Merry Christmas.

- TriviaThe 1958 Christmas special has become a much-loved Christmas Eve tradition on Swedish TV and regularly scores viewer numbers among the highest of the year. It was first broadcast in Sweden in 1960 and has seen some reshuffling to accommodate scenes from Disney movies, but since 1983 the bulk of the program has remained fixed. When public-service TV (SVT) attempted to remove it from the schedule because of the costly license to be paid Disney, the popular outcry forced them to relent. Part of the reason the tradition became so strong was that for many years, American-style cartoons were not much shown on television in Sweden.

Himself - Host: Jiminy Cricket and Mickey Mouse are putting on this Christmas program. They insist I appear cricket-sized because, as they put it, Christmas is bigger than all of us.

Himself - Host: Okay, fellas, I've said it.
[to the viewer]
Himself - Host: Before turning the program over to Jiminy, Mickey and the rest of the cartoon critters, on behalf of the human critters of our organization, may I say, from all of us to all of you, Merry Christmas.
[to the side]
Himself - Host: Okay, Miss Tink, on with the show!
- Crazy creditsThe title appears on a Christmas card that opens up: "From All of Us" on the outside and "To All of You!" on the inside.
- Alternate versionsWhen it re-aired in 1970, all scenes with Walt's and Tinker Bell's intros, as well as the short L'atelier du Père Noël (1932), had been replaced by a teaser for Les Aristochats (1970).
