Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! (2008)

Review by Uriah43

Zombies! Zombies! Zombies!

4/10

Humor, Sexy Women and Plentiful Special Effects

For a low-budget "zom-com" (zombie-comedy), this film wasn't too bad. Essentially, a chemist is experimenting with a cure for cancer, and an acquaintance of his, who happens to be a drug dealer, picks it up thinking it is a form of meth. One thing leads to another, and soon he and some prostitutes become flesh-eating zombies trying to get into a strip club to satisfy their hunger. Naturally, the strippers and a few others try to fight them off as best they can. Anyway, having given a brief outline of the plot, allow me to say that there were a few humorous parts here and there. There was also quite a bit of gore, along with a more straightforward storyline than I expected. Additionally, there were some attractive women, most notably Lyanna Tumaneng (as "Dallas"), Jessica Barton ("Dakota"), and Juliet Reeves ("Pandora"). Essentially, what this film offers is a little humor, sexy women, and plentiful special effects. Unfortunately, the acting simply wasn't good enough to differentiate this film from a host of other low-budget zombie comedies that are currently flooding the market. Because of that, I have rated it as slightly below average.
