Liam Neeson will be joined by a popular Baywatch star for the reimagining of The Naked Gun. While Neeson will portray a new version of Leslie Nielsen's character from the original, he'll be co-starring with Pamela Anderson.

Per Deadline, Pamela Anderson has boarded the cast of the untitled Naked Gun reboot, which is due to hit theaters on July 2025. It's been known that the film will star Neeson as Frank Drebin, though Anderson's role hasn't yet been revealed. Akiva Shaffer is directing the movie after co-writing the script with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, the screenwriting duo behind the Disney+ movie Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers. Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins are producing while Daniel M. Stillman is executive producing.

So far in this series of pieces that look at the straight-to-dvd or VOD movies of some of our favourite actors who have fallen on hard times, we’ve only looked at men (to date: Bruce Willis, Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and John Travolta). That’s because, mostly, actresses find themselves almost completely out of the game once they hit 30ish – an unnecessary full stop that a lot of us would like to see removed in the future.

Denise Richards, sadly, is no different. After marrying a man she found herself in an abusive relationship with, her career climb stumbled and she was forced back down into TV roles, where she’s currently still putting in the hours.

Richards had a sparkling, American Dream-like start in life.

Charlie Sheen was taken to hospital on Tuesday, October 26 after he was reportedly found drunk and half-naked in the Plaza hotel, New York City. And his ex-wife Denise Richards told Joy Behar that she helped transporting him to New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.

"I did help him at the hospital," Denise, who reportedly stayed in a separate room in the same hotel with Charlie, said. The "Blonde and Blonder" actress, however, refused to give further detail about the matter. Instead, she revealed that she is a lot more concerned about her two daughters with Charlie.

"My daughters are five and six years old," Denise said. "And they're at an age when they can start to understand, they have no idea what went on and a lot of... our stuff happened when they were much younger, which I'm so grateful for."

Super Saver may have won the 2010 Kentucky Derby, but Fran Drescher won today's Twitter Pic of the Day with her Audrey Hepburn homage and modest hat for the event. Rain was not enough to scare her away from the race or the camera, it would appear.

A few tweets in the feed were decidedly less upbeat, though, as word broke that Oscar-nominated actress Lynn Redgrave passed away. April 23, 2010: Hollywood bombshell and former Baywatch star, Pamela Anderson, revealed her desire to be a bond girl. She admitted that it’s her life’s ambition to play the role in the longest running spy series and if it happens, it will be a like a dream come true.

Anderson has been the playmate of Playboy several times in the 1990s. Few also know that she had started her acting career as the original ‘Tool Time Girl’ on Home Improvement, a hit television sitcom starring Tim Allen. She was last seen on screen in Blonde and Blonder, a comedy film starring Denise Richards and Emmanuelle.

Earlier today, we brought you an early edition of Twitter-Wood packed chock-full of celebrity praise for James Cameron's sci-fi epic, "Avatar." It's a much more tragic set of circumstances that brings me back to you with another Twitter-Wood early edition.

"Clueless" star Brittany Murphy left us suddenly over the weekend, the victim of a heart attack at the too-young age of 32. The breaking news resulted in an outpouring of grief and sympathy for Murphy's family from around the celebrity Twittersphere. I'll let the people who knew her take it from here...

Ice-t had some harsh words for Bill O'Reilly today in his Twitter feed following O'Reilly's displeasure on Fox News regarding this week's episode of "Law & Order: Svu." In addition to dropping an F-bomb a few hours ago, the actor expressed his full support for writer Dick Wolf, who O'Reilly lashed out at for using his name in an unflattering manner on the show.

Warwick Davis has only gotten cooler in my eyes since I started following his Twitter account. The "Harry Potter" and "Willow" star apparently set up a laser tag match this week with John Williams' "Star Wars" score playing in the background, which sounds like quite the celebration of sci-fi geekdom.

It was also a relief this morning to read that I wasn't the only one seeing little bird-shaped, multicolor avatars everywhere when I logged in to Twitter. Diablo Cody and Richard Kelly experienced the same thing with reactions similar to my own. Pamela Anderson's on-off divorce saga has given her new movie Blonde & Blonder a huge boost - the actress is more popular than ever on America's talk show circuit. With many stars boycotting shows in a bid to offer support to striking Hollywood writers, Anderson is among the few celebrities who are willing to cross picket lines. That fact, coupled with her split from third husband Rick Salomon, has made Anderson a must-have guest. And the producers of her new comedy, which hits cinemas in America on January 18, are thrilled. A spokesman for Empire Film Group, Inc says, "We are thrilled Pam is going to continue with the media blitz Empire has designed to market Blonde & Blonder. We have been inundated with requests from the media to interview Pam and know more about her starring role in this hilarious comedy. It's a dream when your movie star is in demand. Pamela can't remember a time she was so popular. Everyone wants to speak to her." In the film, Anderson and Denise Richards play dumb blondes mistaken for killer hitwomen.

Pals Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards are considering a $1 million offer to pose nude together in an upcoming issue of Playboy magazine. Both blondes have disrobed for the men's magazine in the past, and now Playboy boss Hugh Hefner wants the actresses to team up for a spread in the January 2008 issue of the publication. A source tells the Globe, "Neither Pam nor Denise has committed yet, but they're seriously considering it." Anderson has appeared nude in Playboy a record 12 times, while Richards stripped for the December 2004 issue. The pair became firm friends when they shot mob comedy Blonde & Blonder in Canada last year .

Denise Richards and Pamela Anderson have settled an alleged assault lawsuit with two paparazzos, in relation to a 2006 incident on the set of their movie Blonde & Blonder. In papers filed in March, the former Bond girl was accused of launching a "verbal tirade and a physical assault" on photographers Scott Cosman and Rik Fedyck after she spotted them taking pictures of the actresses on the movie set. The photographers claim she then "snatched their laptop computers from their hands, and threw them over the (hotel) balcony," almost hitting an elderly woman. The actresses were also accused of lying to Canadian authorities about the November incident, blaming the two photographers for threatening behavior. However, the two parties have now come to a "full and complete confidential settlement of all claims" according to new papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on July 26.

Celebrity pals Denise Richards and Pamela Anderson have been named in a lawsuit filed by two photographers, who claim the actresses verbally and physically abused them. In a lawsuit, filed on Friday in Los Angeles, snappers Scott Cosman and Rik Fedyck allege Richards raged when she spotted the photographers taking snapshots of her on the set of upcoming movie Blonde & Blonder last year. According to the lawsuit, which was obtained by Tmz.com, Wild Things star Richards spent 20 minutes hurling abuse at the two men and physically assaulted them at the River Rock Casino Resort in Vancouver, Canada. The plaintiffs claim Richards then "snatched their laptop computers from their hands, and threw them over the (hotel) balcony," adding one of the computers allegedly struck "an elderly woman in a wheelchair." Canadian police investigated the incident and decided it "wasn't in the best public interest to bring criminal charges" against the actress. In the lawsuit, Cosman and Fedyck claim Richards and Anderson, her Blonde & Blonder co-star, then falsely told the Royal Canadian Mounted Police that the photographers "had engaged in criminal activity." As a result, they were arrested and held by authorities for "approximately three days." The paparazzi pair is suing both women for assault, battery, defamation, false arrest and a slew of other charges.

Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from husband Kid Rock after less than four months of marriage. The couple married in a lavish "celebration ceremony" aboard a yacht moored off St Tropez, France on July 29, but made it official when they returned to the US and wed at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. Anderson, 39, has hired famed celebrity divorce lawyer Neal Hersh, whose clients include Kim Basinger, Halle Berry, Drew Barrymore and Denise Richards, and cites irreconcilable differences. Anderson's representative Tracy Nguyen tells American publication People, "Pamela filed for divorce last week. It wasn't a happy Thanksgiving." Earlier this month, Anderson miscarried what would have been her and Rock's first child together. She has two children - Dylan, eight, and Brandon, ten - from her marriage to rocker Tommy Lee. Denise Richards regrets throwing a laptop off a balcony in Canada on Wednesday, calling the incident "a big mistake." The actress grabbed a photographer's laptop and threw it over the balcony of the set of Blonde And Blonder at the River Rock Casino and Hotel in Richmond, British Columbia, where it landed on an 80-year-old pensioner in a wheelchair, leaving her slightly bruised. In an interview airing on TV show Access Hollywood tomorrow, Richards says, "I am not justifying my behavior. It was wrong. I saw one of the photographers, went up to him and offered to give him a few nice shots and asked him to please leave so we can focus on our scene. He wouldn't and he got really belligerent and he was saying vulgar, nasty things to me and made a derogatory remark about my family. I just did what I did and I feel terrible. Over the balcony it went. It was a big mistake on my part. I'm not volatile at all. I'm not aggressive. I've never been with the paparazzi. I feel bad that I ended up doing that." Corporal Peter Thiessen, a media relations officer for the Richmond Royal Canadian Mounted Police, says no criminal charges have been filed and Richards is paying for the damage to the computer. Thiessen says, "The photographers, Denise Richards and her management company have agreed to settle the matter civilly regarding the damages to the photographers' laptops. It is not in the public interest to forward criminal charges regarding this matter."...
