Absolutely hilarious!

This is a TV programme that uses the ridicule and the unbelievable to define Portugal. Nothing escapes to these guys: church, government, VIP and common Portuguese people, national TV channels (RTP, TV2, SIC, TVI), football, National Health Service, etc. Most jokes may seem almost incredible and inflated, however taking a serious look to Portuguese society and customs, these jokes reflect perfectly its behaviour and structure. These 4 lads make very clear and highlight the serious issues that are neglected by our politicians and Portuguese people. This show is much more than a political and social critic, it is a thorough analysis to the day-to-day life in Portugal. Keep up the good work, boys!

An excellent show

After achieving absolute success with four short comedy series, the four comedians from the "Gato Fedorento" quartet got their first studio television show. In this program, they could make several jokes and humorous moments based on the major news and events of that week. Its not easy humor, and slang is seldom used. Ridiculous is the most commonly used weapon, and jokes are clever and ironic, portraying serious subjects in a profoundly relevant and pertinent way. It was a great moment for Portuguese humor, and also for television.

I'll call they the new Monty python!

I'll call they the new Monty python! Already been compared to them.. they're so god damn hilarious and completely original. They completely changed the humor scene here in Portugal.. it's a brand new kind of Humor. They talk about so many subjects and people that is pretty impossible to know what is the next subject/people that they will talk about. There are several important people like politicians that didn't like to be object of humor for these guys and because of that some of them actually started a law process against them, which is hilarious too! I advice to all you people see this.. i know that this is in Portuguese but i think that there are some translations for English dunno for sure. But anyway in my dictionary the synonym for humor is GATO FEDORENTO.

cheers
