After Dark Films Picks Up Mickey Keating's Horrifying Ritual for 2013
Ritual is the first horror film from director Mickey Keating. This title has recently been picked up by After Dark Films as part of its second slate of releases. Ritual stars Derek Phillips (Serum), Larry Fessenden (The Last Winter) and Dean Cates. Recently, the official poster art for the film has been released. Ritual tells a tale of Satanic cults and bloody murder. Tom (Cates) and Lovely (Lisa Marie Summerscales) are a couple confronted with a problem. Lovely has just killed a man in self-defence and this victim is part of a secret cult. Now, this cult is looking for Lovely and revenge Fans of horror can preview the film here, with the official artwork for Ritual. A skull is prominent and the graphic alludes to some strange going-ons at an isolated hotel. As well, an early still from the film is below. The photograph shows some of the film's cult members.

Agora Entertainment and Final Fate Features are releasing their horror flick The Final. The movie is directed by Joey Stewart from a script by producer Jason Kabolati, whose credits include the 2006 chiller Serum and Jon Keeyes’ Mad Bad. The Final is about a group of high school outcasts who stage a costume party for the purpose of luring in the popular kids who bullied them for some seriously sick payback. First look at The Final
Agora Entertainment and Final Fate Features have announced the completion of their new horror opus The Final, and sent along the first few photos (see ’em below). The movie was directed by first-timer Joey Stewart from a script by producer Jason Kabolati, whose credits include the 2006 chiller Serum and Jon Keeyes’ actioner Mad Bad.

The Final is about a group of high-school outcasts who stage a costume party for the purpose of luring in a group of the popular students who bullied them, upon whom they enact torturous vengeance. “The Final is about being picked on, bullied and tormented, and the retaliation and revenge that it incurs,” Stewart says. “As the outcasts begin to feel that life has no meaning, they make a pact for revenge and suicide that they believe will teach these kids a valuable life lesson.
