Well, in a big way the film is about the font we know and love (or hate): "Helvetica". We're given a brief history of the font through the testimonies of several professional graphic designers, including the son of the man who created the font. The film is packed full of shots showing various corporate logos, signs, labels, etc. that all incorporate Helvetica. We are given a real glimpse into how big the font has become, and how much it is used. Not only does the film cover this font, but it talks a lot about the evolution of graphic design styles and techniques post WWII.
