Actor Jürgen Vogel was attached to the project in its pre-production stage, but scheduling conflicts forced him to bow out.
While shooting episode 3, in which two men and a woman are trapped in a stuck elevator, the camera assistant Max Kleber was trapped in the elevator himself and had to be rescued.
Philipp von Werther, one of the directors of episode 9, also designed the 7.5-minute-long credit-animation at the end of the movie.
Producer/supervising director Harald Siebler had a cameo appearance in episode 6, but he had himself digitally removed when he realized that his appearance was a disturbance to the scene.
