I'm sorry. I really trusted the other reviews and thought this would be a really smart movie.
And I was so, so, wrong. The beginning of the movie is very promising, though it doesn't really explain why the characters are where they are in the first place. There is no context.
But you forgive them, because the writing seems really witty and fast-paced, even though none of the characters change and the story goes nowhere. And then goes somewhere--completely uncalled for. I don't even get where this movie idea came from. It's completely bizarre and delusional! If curiosity gets the best of you, then watch this movie. Otherwise, save yourself the trouble and read one of the spoilers, because you will keep waiting for a tie-in to the chaos and it will never happen.

I don't understand why this movie is so underrated. I always been a fan of small but intelligently scripted movie and this movie is certainly one of them. I saw this movie just because I thought the name was so eye catching but after watching the movie I think the movie is much more gripping than the name.
The movie is about four friends having different sexual tastes or orientations-Two guys and two gals- who stay over one of their friend's apartment for the night. The movie is about how these all four people defend and boasts about their sexual orientation as superior by attacking each others sexual orientations. The consists of four characters J.D- the straight guy, Kris also a straight girl, Rafe gay man and Heidi the lesbian.
The script, the story and the dialogs especially when these people where discussing sex is very impressive. Although the camera work is not upto the mark that may be because they want to present is as a cam shot story but anyways that doesn't effected me.
I would certainly suggest people to watch this movie but only to the adults.
8/10 for me.

This is kind of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf" meets "Friends". As IMDb points out, much of the movie was actually filmed in sequence, and it kind of shows. The male actors start off kind of rocky, but by about 15 minutes in, they're quite believable. Michelle Mosley and Eleese Longing are spot on from the very first mark.
While the situation seems bizarre, it does kind of remind me of the intense passion of being in your early twenties, where people aren't always kind with their emotions or those of others and manipulation just for the fun of it isn't unknown. When there's a lot of hurt inside and not a good language or forum to safely get it out, these things actually do happen. If you've ever lived through anything like that, then you'll recognize these characters.
Overall, I liked the film. The production value is oddly in tact with the bizarreness of the film. At first it really feels stilted, but as the action speeds up, the film making becomes really quite good. Since I am seeing the same thing as with the male actors, I'm wondering if there's some hidden point here - or if it just got better because it was in sequence.
It's worth seeing if you like character driven films that reflect the idea that no matter how sure of ourselves we look on the outside, there's always an inner frailty.

I've just seen this film in "The 14th Mix Brazil Sexual Diversity Cinema Festival" (Rio de Janeiro).
Nice movie ! It's all centered in a discussion between bisexual and open-minded girl Kris, homophobic straight guy J.D., a lesbian girl (Heidi) and a gay man (Rafe).
The script was well-developed and the dialogues quite interesting.
In the center of the story, the girls get more attention and Michelle Mosley (who reminded me of Mischa Barton) and Eleese Longino (a less beautiful and sexy version of Jessica Biel) live up to the opportunity with a great duel (with breakthrough performances) between the two characters and the men (J.D. and Rafe) around them.
Looking forward to seeing the girls again as well as the next film from this director.
Cast: Michelle Mosley (Kris), Matthew Tyler (J.D.), Eleese Longino (Heidi) and Mike Fallon (Rafe).

Fun, thought-provoking and brilliantly shot. The outstanding acting of the quartet aligns perfectly with a very witty story. You felt as if you were there in the room with these characters and experienced every emotion squared. Michelle Mmm... is a particular stand-out.
The spot-on directing is to be applauded for a first-time feature. What should have felt claustrophobic was actually engaging with the combo of a lively set and captivating camera angles. I could easily see this as a stage play as well.
Kudos to creator/director Lawrence for his unique vision. There are so many movies about "gay" or "straight" but this is one of the few that addresses the fluidity of attraction (yes, I said fluid).
I look forward to more from the stellar team of talent involved with this film!
