Hollywood has seen plenty of relationships with big age gaps, but when it comes to older women dating younger men, people suddenly tend to have different and negative reactions. At least that is what Sienna Miller herself felt when she initially got together with her boyfriend Oli Green, who is 15 years her junior.

Having first met Green in 2021, Miller has been candid about their relationship and has never shied away from hitting back against haters for their ‘double standards.’
However, in a recent interview, the actress opened up about their differences and was initially annoyed that her boyfriend was so much younger than her. Jere is all you need to know about Sienna Miller and her love story with Oli Green.

Director William Nunez describes why he focused on a time when the poet Robert Graves – best known for a memoir Goodbye to All That and historical novel I, Claudius – left his wife and family in pursuit of creativity at any cost
How do you make the life of a poet work on screen? It helps if they had scandalous personal lives. Robert Graves was last seen on the sidelines of Terence Davies’s biopic as the friend of the first world war poet Siegfried Sassoon (Benediction). Now the tables are turned, with a cameo of Sassoon in a film about the early career of the man who would go on to become professor of poetry at Oxford and to win the Queen’s gold medal for poetry.
Graves is an unfashionable figure today, known chiefly through I, Claudius, the TV serialisation of two of his novels, starring Derek Jacobi as the Roman emperor.

The end of the world is a pretty lucrative topic when it comes to films and TV shows; It seems everyone is ready to get on board the minute a disaster looms. Recently, the pandemic has ushered in a whole host of shows about society's collapse after an infectious disease overtakes everything, with shows like "Station Eleven" and "The Last of Us" being two of the most recent adaptations to make it to TV. But they are not the first shows to explore what might happen to society when faced with a cataclysmic event, and they most certainly will not be the last. In fact, this March will see the release of a new show, "Extrapolations," which will approach the subject of humanity's existence on earth in a more subdued, but still terrifying kind of way. Here is everything you need to know about this new show from Apple TV...

Cillian Murphy, star of the new horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II, is something to behold: X-ray eyes at once penetrating and ethereally blue, cheekbones so pronounced you could stretch out and go to sleep on them. English actress Keira Knightley, Academy Award-nominated for “Pride & Prejudice” and “The Imitation Game,” understandably did not handle public attention well after the release of her 2003 breakout, Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Or with the many hits that followed. According to a new interview with The Telegraph, Knightley said that at age 22 — with “Love, Actually,” “King Arthur,” and “Atonement” all under her belt — she suffered a “mental breakdown” in the wake of being shadowed by paparazzi.
“The value of photographs of any famous young women at the time went up if they were of a very negative nature,” she told Robbie Collin, in reference to the media circuses that burst around such headline-grabbing stars as Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears. “So if you weren’t already having a mental breakdown, they were trying to push you into doing things that kept your value as high as those who were.

Sienna Miller is unlike many actors I’ve interviewed in how she seems as intent in learning about you, as you are in learning about her. It’s the same quality that makes her so captivating to watch in films like Factory Girl, The Edge of Love and High-Rise, which was at the center of our conversation. In Ben Wheatley’s epic science-fiction thriller she plays Charlotte, a single mother living in the title building, where she meets the enigmatic Robert Laing (Tom Hiddleston) with whom she begins an affair. Ms. Miller provides Charlotte with an almost feline instinct, onscreen she slinks with premeditated effortlessness, seducing those on her path because life has revealed that is her strongest asset. She also infuses Charlotte with a droll sense of humor that in the hands of a lesser actor would make her seem heartless.
Like Charlotte, Ms. Miller is also very frank,...

Cast your minds back to 2002 - a time when Pop Idols didn't need to have The X Factor, Fifty Shades of Grey were just colours on a paint sampler chart and David Beckham was a mere international superstar rather than global megastar.

Director: Andy Goddard; Screenwriters: Andy Goddard, Celyn Jones; Starring: Elijah Wood, Celyn Jones, Steven Mackintosh, Shirley Henderson, Maimie McCoy; Running time: 90 mins; Certificate: Tbc
It's a matter of feeling. That's the general theme conveyed by Set Fire to the Stars, which covers Dylan Thomas's turbulent tour of America in 1950. But while the Welsh poet was a master at arousing sensation with his words, Andy Goddard's stylishly shot movie doesn't succeed in forming a sustained emotional connection with the viewer.
It's a surprise how flat the movie feels, given the fascinating subject matter of the complex relationship between Thomas (Celyn Jones) and his American agent John Brinnin (Elijah Wood). The latter's doomed mission to steer his hellraising hero away from intoxication before his performances should have been rife with laughs and tears. "So I was just playing the role of an actor knowing what he was doing. You know when you see a bear you have to pretend you are bigger than the bear in order to keep your life? That's kind of what it was like.

London, Apr 8: Sienna Miller, who became good friends with Keira Knightley after co-starring in their 2008 film 'The edge of Love', is apparently quite impressed with the fellow actress.
The 31-year-old fashion designer said that Knightley is a 'timeless movie star,' whose classic appearance also means that she can pull off any outfit, the Daily Express reported.
The 'Alfie' actress insisted that the first thing that comes to her mind when she is thinking about the 28-year-old is the Forties.
"I think of her as glamorous in that kind of timeless movie star way but she can be grungy in this very cool Nineties way," she said.
Miller also claimed that the British star genuinely doesn't think about the way she.

Los Angeles, April 8: Actress Sienna Miller, who starred alongside Keira Knightley in 2008 film "The Edge Of Love", is quite impressed with her co-star's beauty and style.

From Bond to Bourne to hairy monsters and sub-humans, cinema has always loved the tube
The freshest image of the tube in moviegoers' memories is not an encouraging one: a train crashing through the walls of an underground chamber and crumpling into a heap right where James Bond should have been standing. Luckily (and implausibly), the train in Skyfall was empty: although Javier Bardem was a villain, he had at least checked the schedules to cause minimum disruption to the service.
The cinematic possibilities of the tube are as myriad as its destinations. It's a great place for action and chases (The Bourne Ultimatum and Patriot Games got there before Skyfall). It's a realm of concealment, strangeness and subterranean nightmares, but it's a refuge, too. For film-makers, the tube is also very convenient: not only does it boast controllable light and a steady climate, it can also provide a mirror image of the city above.

For Keira Knightley, the key to playing Tolstoy's tragic heroine in Joe Wright's adaptation of Anna Karenina was endless research
Did you have any idea how the film would look when you were shooting?
Not really, no. I think we all had little pieces of it in our head, but only Joe [Wright, the director,] really knew. If I'm honest, I think he tried to explain it to us, collectively and individually, but no one really knew quite what he was going on about. If I hadn't worked with him before, maybe I would have panicked but I've learned to just trust him over the years and it helps you dive in.
It's a huge part for you – was it what you expected?
Hardly. When it was first put forward, we were all going to Russia to shoot it there. I was well up for that, but then the budget came in...

Joining her are actors Simon Ginty as ‘Billy,’ Oliver Hoare as ‘Julian,’ Amy Lennox as ‘Cruz,’ Paul Luebke (Djinn) as ‘Gus,’ Duncan Wisbey as ‘Mose,’ Kyle Redmond-Jones (The Edge of Love) as ‘Deputy Biggs’ and Peter Brooke as ‘Jason,’ with the previously reported horror vet Doug Bradley (Hellraiser) accompanying them for what will undoubtedly be some rather grisly happenings. John Cusack has told how he immersed himself in the life of Edgar Allan Poe for his starring role as the American writer in new movie The Raven.
On screen and in the flesh, Cusack looks much younger than his 45 years, thanks in part to losing 25 pounds to play the drunken, impoverished poet.
"I went on a strict diet to look super-thin for The Raven, because he was underweight," says the actor. "He was world-famous but dirt-poor and he once showed up the White House drunk."
This gritty thriller sees Cusack's character join forces with young detective Emmett Fields, played by Luke Evans (Immortals), to hunt down a serial killer who is using Poe's own works as the basis for a string of brutal murders.
Directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta), the film also stars Alice Eve (Sex and the City 2), Brendan Gleeson (In Bruges) and Oliver Jackson-Cohen (Faster).

Ronald Tutor, a construction tycoon and Miramax co-owner, can't escape messy litigation emanating from his days working with former business partner David Bergstein, the embattled film financier. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has tentatively denied his argument that he was personally uninvolved in transactions that prompted Aramid Entertainment Fund to seek redress for tens of millions of dollars in loans and transactions made over films including Love Ranch, The Edge of Love, Black Water Transit, The Good, Incendiary and Bad Meat. Aramid filed the $17 million lawsuit in May 2010 against Tutor, Bergstein and a number of their

For the first time in a long time, the universe seems to be working in Lindsay Lohan's favor. The actress has been confirmed as host of the March 3 episode of "Saturday Night Live" and has reportedly booked the role of film legend Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie "Liz and Dick."
Recently, she's been lying low and working to finish the community service she was sentenced to following numerous probation violations relating to past DUI arrests and charges she shoplifted a necklace from a Venice, California, boutique in early 2011. Her most recent probation progress reports from Los Angeles Superior Court judge Stephanie Sautner have been "glowing," and there's been some indication she may even be on track to complete the requirements of her probation early,...

There are as many adaptations and variations on Emily Brontë's "Wuthering Heights" as there are theories about how Heathcliff gains his wealth and maturity before enacting his revenge. Thankfully, for Brontë-philes, that is still up for debate in "Fish Tank" director Andrea Arnold's adaptation of the Brit-Lit classic that tracks the mournful love triangle of Catherine, Heathcliff and Edgar over the years in the north of England at the titular farmhouse. This adaptation spent a while in development , being tossed from John Maybury (“The Edge of Love”) to Peter Webber (“Girl With The Pearl Earring”), until it came to her attention. The Playlist sat down with Arnold at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival the day after the first major snowstorm of the fest and discussed why she doesn't storyboard, her use of Mumford & Sons over the credits and why she chose to focus on the first half of the book (you can read our.

Toronto - In the midst of a busy Toronto Film Festival, I found myself racing to the Fairmont Royal Oak Hotel. One particular actress was in town for only a few more hours and this was a rare opportunity for a sit down one on one with her. The star in question was none other than Keira Knightley, the former "Pirates of the Caribbean" star who has spent the last four years running from blockbusters and, instead, gaining respect with stellar performances in films such as "Atonement," the underrated "The Edge of Love," "Never Let Me Go," the also underrated "Last...

A Farm linked to a legend about Merlin, King Arthur and the red dragon on the Welsh flag has been saved with the help of Hollywood stars Matthew Rhys and Catherine Zeta Jones.
The National Trust has managed to raise the £1million it needs to buy the "very special" site in Snowdonia.
The fundraising drive saw 20,000 people respond to calls to help secure the future of Llyndy Isaf, a 614-acre (248-hectare) farm on the shores of Llyn Dinas, a lake near Beddgelert, Gwynedd.
The bid to save the farm was spearheaded by Welsh actor Matthew Rhys (pictured) and supported by Catherine Zeta Jones.
Matthew, known for his roles in Us drama Brothers & Sisters and as poet Dylan Thomas in The Edge of Love, said: "Thank you so much to so many of your who dug so deep and supported our campaign to save Llyndy Isaf, this very special farm in the heart of Snowdonia.

Beautiful land and lake where wildlife thrives, and where legend says dragons fought, saved following 20,000 donations
The National Trust has raised £1m to buy a farm encompassing a lake considered one of the most beautiful and emblematic in Wales.
There were concerns that Llyn Dinas in Snowdonia and its shoreline could be turned into a water sports centre if it were not saved for the nation.
Llyn Dinas and the farm, Llyndy Isaf, are considered special partly because they are home to a wealth of wildlife but also because the area is the setting for the mythical battle between a red and white dragon. Legend says the red dragon won, and thus it became the country's beloved national symbol.
The National Trust launched its biggest countryside appeal for more than a decade and raised the money needed in seven months with donations from 20,000 people.

Keira Knightley is said to be in talks to play artistic muse Effie Gray in the biopic "Untouched" which is being pre-sold at Afm by Ealing Metro International reports Thompson on Hollywood.
The story follows the real-life love affair between the beautiful young woman, her Victorian artist and poet husband John Ruskin, and Ruskin's protege - painter John Everett Millais.
A love triangle in a period tale is very familiar territory for Knightley. Both her upcoming films "A Dangerous Method" and "Anna Karenina" deal with similar situations, same with much of her past work including "The Duchess" and "The Edge of Love".
Brazilian director Andrucha Waddington helms the period piece which isn't to be confused with Emma Thompson's forthcoming feature "Effie" starring Dakota Fanning as Gray.

Peter Sarsgaard also in talks to appear in project based on biography of Deep Throat actor who became anti-porn activist
Amanda Seyfried is in talks to star as Linda Lovelace in one of two competing projects about the infamous star of 1970s porn film Deep Throat, according to the Hollywood Reporter. If all goes to plan, she will appear opposite Peter Sarsgaard, who is in negotiations to play Lovelace's husband, Chuck Traynor.
The Seyfried project, with which James Franco and Kate Hudson were previously linked, is titled Lovelace and is based on The Complete Linda Lovelace, a biography by Eric Danville, published in 2001. It is not to be confused with Inferno: a Linda Lovelace Story, which was once due to star Lindsay Lohan in the title role and now has Malin Akerman and Matt Dillon on board.
