Lizzie Should Have Axed The Writer

I've seen the original with Elizabeth Montgomery which was a great movie but this one was so far out in left field my wife and I laughed with disgust and ended up fast forwarding thru most of the movie. There was no real plot to follow and at times the music sounded more like we were watching soft porn. It looked more like it was made in someone's garage and definitely not something that would actually get released on DVD. When all is said and done I have to say this is absolutely one of the worst movies I have ever seen other than 555. Not worth the effort and truly should be up for The Razzies. If you ever decide you want to watch this movie make sure you do it on a night when your so bored you can fall asleep and not worry about missing the film.

I hope the Director Ford Austin can read this!

This was the stupidest movie i think i have ever watched. I know i only paid a penny for the movie but i didn't even get my money's worth. This looks like a movie a bunch of immature students could have made. I couldn't even finish the movie it was so stupid. The director should never be allowed to make a movie again he is completely ridiculous. I hope this is a warning to everyone that is thinking about buying or seeing this movie or any other movies by this director. Lizzie Borden could have been made into a really good movie but it has been ruined. Plus, he can't even get the story line right, he should really read up on his history.

Lord help me, I enjoyed this!

For some unknown reason, I always enjoy (most) of David Sterling's movies, they remind me of the stuff I used to make in high school with the halloween store weapons, cheap effects, terrible writing, cheesy acting, etc.

I also have been on a binge of watching as much Randal Malone movies that I can find. I have no idea why, he just has a strangely interesting vibe.

All that is to say, most will not agree with my review, because if you don't get a kick out of bottom of the barrel slashers, you will hate The Curse of Lizzie Borden.

Little happens until the last 10 minutes, and before that there is a lot of repetition - "You are Cassie!" "No, I'm Lizzie."

So unless you enjoy the type of stuff I've mentioned, don't even bother with this one.
