Nancy drew visits her house keeper's friend, Rose, down in San Francisco trying to open her Victorian mansion into a bed & breakfast. Although, there are strange happenings going on... maybe a ghostly spirit trying to stop her or is greed at hand for a fabulous treasure?

Nancy Drew mystery #3. This time, Nancy has been invited to San Francisco to help a dear friend, Rose Green, on a Victorian Mansion renovation. Rose hopes to open up a Bed n' Breakfast by next month. Unfortunately, there have been some very strange accidents ever since Rose moved in. Everyone is in panic, and no one has any idea what could be causing all these accidents. Abby, a friend who is staying with Rose, tries to convince everyone that the mansion is haunted. If the accidents continue, the Bed 'n Breakfast will have to be postponed.
