      Copy copy copy...

As a writer has written above, this movie looks lie a Japanese horror film. If you ask why, there is a Japanese consultant for this movie. If I heaven't seen Takeshi Miike's movies before, I would have worshiped to the quality of this movie.

The lights and the visual effects were very good.

But sadly, it is a copy. Yes, it includes Islamic horror contents but the highest level of horror is given in the Japanese way.

I would recommend "One Missed Call"(Sorry, I don't know its Japanese name) to those who think that this movie is something original and full of horror.

Dabbe is truly a great Turkish horror film

Dabbe is truly a great Turkish horror film. As good as Hollywood-horror-flicks, even better. A f******-freaky Turkish horror film ! This film gave me a f****** fright. It truly scares your **** off, no doubt about it. I don't know what other people are talking about when they say it was stupid or bad or have other negative things to say...It is definitely not a sloppy piece of work and I think it served it's purpose very well.

This is a Turkish horror flick my brother persuaded me to check it out. I had and still have pure prejudice to Turkish films. I am biased when it comes to Turkish movies. And my brother was recommending " a horror film" ! A Turkish horror !!! We Turks can't even shoot a proper thriller let alone a horror. Well after a lot of persuasion I agreed to watch Dabbe with him.In the end I was fascinated by this film, actually I was scared stiff to tell you the truth.

Dabbe scared the sh** out of me like no other horror flick in the last years. Gives me goosebumps even when I write the name of the film. You should look at my arms, just thinking about the film has just given me the gooses. Absolutely hair-raising and freaking film. This is freaky I'm telling you that mates. It is so freaky. One of the freakiest I've ever seen.

I went to a DVDshop the next day to get this film. I was glad to see that this DVD also featured English subtitles, so I can show it to others as well. If you can order please do feel generous and get this film. It's truly great. I can guarantee that this horror film is going to make the hairs on your neck stand on end.

Visual effects as well as the well-thought story is pretty satisfying. There are tons of spooky moments, freaky voices and lots of jumpy scenes. The creepy voices and terrifying screams are perfectly done and make your hair stand on end. The only drawback and bad side of this flick is that the actors' weak performances. The acting was unfortunately not as good as the film in my humble opinion. However, it's worth watching. Perhaps it won't be the scariest horror film of all time for some of you but it will definitely make you shiver.

So, if you fancy demons, gins (djin), beings beyond comprehension, spiritual substances/beings, mental and psychological type of horror films this one's just for you then. Don't miss it out.

      Excellent

The story of the movie is real great. There are couple of other movies like this one(Büyü). The real freaky thing about it is that at the gala of Büyü the movie theater burnt down, a lot of things went wrong during the filming. And at the filming of this movie(Dabbe), according to director and cast, there where couple of shapes flashing in the pictures. And the director got really scary nightmares where he got warned.

This doesn't surprise me, the movies tell's us about beings that are mentioned in the Quran.

      Have fun watching it.

      Dabb@: Signs of doomsday!

I saw this movie a few day ago. It's not originally and unique movie but have a few newness in Turkish Horror cinema. Dabbe is first movie of KIYAMET(Doomsday) trilogy. We wait for "Deccal and Mehdi" and last movie "Isa Mesih". A director used metaphysical and technological elements together in a movie. This is a revolution for Turkish cinema culture. Writer and Director Hasan Karacadag knows Asian, especially Japanese horror movie well. Dabbe remind me Kiyoshi Kurosawa's "Kairo" and Hideo Nakata's "Ringu". He adapted Islamic believes to Asian horror aesthetic and telecommunication technology. Dabbe is a sign of end of world. Movie has inspired by Neml Sura in Koran. Director preferred darkness and and blurred colors. Sciences are not enough for explain some events. As in this movie. Sound effects are very successfully.

      I recommend watching!

      '''D@bbe''' , '''Tanoshii Eiga'''

I watch screening by chance a few weeks ago to see '''Dabbe''', '''D@bbe''' up here in Tokyo.I could not know about Islamic or Turkish horror movies. I liked it.This film is very good mix of famous Japanese horrors.I was surprised because director of '''Dabbe''', '''Mr.Hasan Karacadag''' is not Japanese. But the style of this film is very near the J-horror techniques.I know its very difficult to make J-horror movie with other Asian countries people and cultures.Because J-horror style is very special. The appeal of the stories is likely to be found in old Japanese culture and historical background unique to Japan.I think the background of Islamic culture and spiritual Japanese stories are using same things. The secret sides of dead and life, with suspecting of religion. '''Dabbe''' , '''D@bbe''' was very enjoyable and attractive for me.In Japanese language we say;'''Tanoshii Eiga!!!
