This is a great stoner movie to vibe with. It's not exactly a comedy though, toward the end the story transforms into multiple dark sub plots all at once and can feel like a bit much. The beginning and middle are an amazing ride!

8.25 of 10. This is a reality based version of How to Make Money Selling Drugs (2012). It also takes a different approach in the lessons embedded in the story by providing many examples of exactly what not to do. Neither are documentaries, but at the same time contain a great deal of surprising truths.
Besides learning by counter-example and having lots of amusing, stranger than fiction scenes, the film throws in the one thing that is exactly what you'd expect with young people with lots of money stuck in Idaho: lots of partying, pursuit of the beautiful, and sex. The filming and perspectives also capture, at least with the women, parts and views that rarely get done well in film or TV. There's an actual appreciation and understanding of women's bodies by the director and camera crew.
Despite the fun, sex, and young cast, the film as a whole is a well-acted tragedy with a deep impact.

Here is your average stoner movie Mixed in with a little bit of what not to do if you sell drugs,
the movie has some if not all scenes where drug use is exhibited. The start as usual is slow, however once the user gets into the movie it's like a really good book that you can't keep away from. Based on away true story the movie has its high and low moments along with a lot of comedy and nudity involved. Worth the hour and forty minutes of anyone's time. Mixing a bit of the wolf of wall Street and project X this movie makes the perfect stoner party ready for all. New actors play suitable roles, hopefully going onto better brighter things, Just like pain in gain this movie takes a serious real life situation and brings comedy and makes a good Hollywood blockbuster out of it

At first I was rather skeptical about watching this one, but oh no, I am so glad that I did, I really enjoyed this movie, has a good story line and well filmed. Interesting story, based on a true story. Was slightly skeptical about watching this one after reading a couple of the previous reviews but I am glad that I did, it certainly made for an entertaining watch. I'm a regular marijuana user so naturally I enjoyed the heavy theme of marijuana - though I do think this would be a good watch for someone who's never touched it, good cinematography and story, give it a watch, glad that I did. A couple of the scenes did feel somewhat lacking and you could tell that the makers did not have a large budget to play with - though nonetheless they pulled it off well. Definitely recommend.
I have to give this movie a B- just because the ending really made me uncomfortable and angry. The film has a nice pace and if you have ever done anything that you knew was dodgy and were nervous about getting caught, the beginning of the film really brought back that same feeling of dread and excitement that I had. The acting is excellent and if anything this movie is too realistic which is why the inevitable ending is pretty excruciating to watch. However the movie is fun and makes you wistful at the end of it because they really could have had it all if they were not so (cussing) greedy. It really is sickening that you can get life in prison for selling pot to me. All of the violence and tax evasion that are associated with weed are totally unnecessary. How many houses and boats and personal property has the government stolen from its citizens? I am sure Budweiser and Dupont and all of the pharm companies are lobbying like crazy as we speak buying our elected officials golf trips to Scotland and letting them borrow their ferraris and vacation homes.

Julie Morgan: Take a good look at my tits boys. If you don't co-operate, they're the last pair you'll ever going to see.
