I was a kid when I first watched this movie, and back then, portraying issues such as domestic violence and dysfunctional families was considered to be a daring act; therefore, Jeyrani's Red became a thing of the time, especially the song performed in it. Now, as an adult viewer, I find the performances ridiculous; the editing awful, and above all, the story flawed.
