Filmmaker Rupert Sanders made a short film under the same title in 2010 as a pitch for a potential feature-length adaptation of the comic series. However since then, the film went through multiple directors and screenwriters and has been stuck in production hell since then. As of 2024, no new progress has been made on the film's development.
