WWE’s “Saturday Night’s Main Event” will air live on both NBC and Peacock.
The pro wrestling spectacle makes its next stop at the Yuengling Center in Tampa Bay, Fla. on May 24. The telecast of the event will air simultaneously on both NBC and Peacock.
As part of his WWE retirement tour, John Cena will also make his first appearance at “Saturday Night’s Main Event” in more than a decade. Kevin Owens isn't a man who rests on his laurels. WWE's resident truth-teller has accomplished a lot, but always tries to move on to the next challenge. But when there's something missing from your resumé, you try to fill it, and Ko just ticked off a hugely meaningful item off his wrestling bucket list. As Owens exclusively told Collider last month in an interview to promote Saturday Night's Main Event on NBC, he didn't have much left to accomplish in his career, but one thing had eluded him to date: a match with the iconic Rey Mysterio.

Saturday Night’s Main Event returned to strong audience ratings over the weekend.
The WWE’s two-hour showdown brought in 2.3M viewers on NBC and Peacock. As expected, a majority of the audience came from the broadcaster, while about 700,000 tuned in via streaming.
This is the first Saturday Night’s Main Event since 2008, when 2.4M tuned in on NBC. The iconic event originally premiered in May of 1985 and, although it went on a bit of a hiatus over the past 16 years, it seems that it’s still a highly anticipated event for the WWE.
For comparison purposes, ABC’s showing of the NBA Cup game between the Houston Rockets and the Oklahoma City Thunder drew 1.89M viewers.
Taking it back to where it all started, this year’s Saturday Night’s Main Event took place at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island — the site of the very first event.
