Trivia
Although Friedrich von Thun receives a major credit at the start of this episode, his character, Albert Schweitzer, only appears in one distant long shot. He will have a big part in the next installment, 'Congo, January 1917'.

Goofs
Remy says to Indy that he shouldn't make an enemy out of Major Boucher, as Indy responds, Remy teases Indy by saying: "Anything you say, Godzilla, or whatever your name is nowadays?" This scene takes place in December 1916, Godzilla as a franchise wouldn't be around for another 38 years.
