I find South Park in Mr. Hankey The Christmas Poo (1997) is rather a unique Christmas Special. Despite its crude and vulgar humour, but the voice acting is very amazing and the story is very good too. Despite Mr. Hankey is a controversial character in nowadays, but he was memorable in his own right in his first appearance. This Christmas special is also the dedicated memories of the late Isaac Hayes (Aka Chef Jerome McElroy) and the late Mary Kay Bergman (Aka Wendy Testaburger). It's also have A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) reference as well. Despite it's controversy, vulgar and crude humour, But I'm giving this a respectful 9/10 and Merry Christmas.

I always enjoyed the Christmas episodes of South Park! I even bought the DVD compilation of all the Christmas episodes recently! This is the first Christmas episode that was out(not counting the spirit of Christmas shorts). This was a fairly good episode and I enjoyed it.Christmas has come to south park but Kyle feels left out because he is Jewish while virtually everyone else is Christian and celebrating Christmas.Kyle keeps seeing this talking piece of poo named "Mr.Hankey", but everyone else thinks he is crazy.Meanwhile, Kyle's mother is upset about the nativity scene being in a school play, which starts everybody else asking for things to be removed from the Christmas play that seem offensive. This is a funny and great Christmas episode! Two interesting notes: 1.This marks the first time the school counselor Mr.Mackey is seen. 2.In this episode, Cartman sings the "Kyle's mom is a b*tch song" which was later used in the South Park movie.

This episode is so much funnier than I remembered. I was laughing so hard I was out of breath! It's probably the Funniest one I've seen on my rewatch so far.
The highlight for me is Cartman's improvised song about Kyle's mom. It's so catchy and infectious - I had to rewind and listen to it twice while dancing along.
The Mr Hankey character is so ingrained in my mind now that it's hard to remember how extremely WEIRD it actually is. So inventive and original. The way he leaves smears wherever he goes is a gloriously disgusting detail. A great running gag in the episode is the fact that he's invisible to everybody except Kyle, which makes it look like Kyle is simply playing with his bowel movements. A perfect example of the type Of gross humour the show is famous for.
This episode is pure joy to watch - I can feel the Christmas spirit shining through.
