Fuel for Math Teachers

The old algorithm. Brothers Charlie and Don, one a mathematician, the other FBI, join together on a rape case, attempting to hunt down the perpetrator. The problem I had with this show was twofold. First, I never really quite understood the math, and secondly it would seem the human element was always too random. Still, this was a promising show, and I plan on plugging my way through it again.

I'm in Love with Charlie Epps!

I had sincerely hoped that "Numb3rs" would have a long & exciting run. Coming from me, that is usually a jinx. Alas, the run was long (in TV-time) of 5 seasons.

Realistic relationships underlie the entire series; Charlie is both geek AND educator. I love that Charlie has all of the real emotions: fear, anger, pride, innocence, confusion, etc. It must be difficult for Dad and Don to keep up with a mind that moves at the speed of light (I'll let Charlie explain the theory).

As with all series with solid character development, it was hard to see the epic end. I'm happy to be able to get my fix on a regular basis to keep my fantasy love affair with Charlie alive. Wouldn't it be great if they did a "reunion" show (at least 2 hours long).
