Ok

I have been binging every season of Heartbeat for the last few weeks. I haven't enjoyed it as much since Kate died, I really liked her character. This is the first episode of the 6th season and had a weird first part/second part break. I guess they started that this season. Anyway, I am glad that Nick is getting to know the new teacher, Jo. I was hoping he would have a new love interest.

This is off track a little, but it's so hard to watch the way the English police force operate. Bring an American, I am used to the police having guns and weapons to protect themselves. Maybe it's because it's England in the 60's, but it seems these guys go blindly into dangerous situations with no way to protect themselves or the public. I don't believe they even have handcuffs. It's just frustrating to watch. Also, Blaketon's constant yelling and then having to eat his words because he has the whole situation wrong is getting a bit tiring.

I know this show had a lot of seasons, and the characters change, (like Midsomer which I also watched) so I will watch as many episodes as Tubi and Amazon Prime have available.
